Pros
Great for soothing the skin. When applied on a cotton pad as a skin pack, it slightly reduces the sensation of heat on the skin.
Cons
Originally, I bought this to layer and combat deep dryness before makeup, as I dislike using heavy formulas. However, it doesn't effectively address deep dryness unless applied multiple times, which was unexpected.
Tip
Rather than layering, I recommend using it as a skin pack when your skin feels irritated or inflamed.

Pros
~Impulse buy that turned out to be a top-notch satisfaction~ This is truly the ultimate essence for summer use. It's not sticky, making it perfect for layering, and it's wonderfully hydrating. Even just letting it absorb works wonders for soothing the skin. But the real magic? Using it as a skin pack. Soak a few cotton pads, pop them in the fridge for a bit, and after cleansing, apply this as a skin pack. It's like turning your face into a mini-fridge! Of course, the coolness comes from refrigeration, but the key point is how it cools while calming any heat in the skin. I've got one left, but come summer, I'll be stocking up again. Please don't discontinue it...
Cons
Just have more sales, please. If you have frequent sales, I'll set my wallet to automatic opening, I swear. The mugwort scent might be hit or miss for some.

Pros
It's wonderfully moisturizing and refreshing when applied, providing great hydration. When my skin occasionally acts up or feels sensitive, using this as a skin pack helps soothe it quickly, which I really appreciate.

Pros
The watery texture is perfect for soaking cotton pads and using as a mask. It seemed to help calm redness and soothe my skin. I found the calming effect was even better when I left it on for a few minutes, rather than just applying it with my hands. It would be great if they released this as an actual pad product!
Cons
Since it has a water-like consistency and I use it by saturating cotton pads, I tend to go through it quickly, which can be a bit costly given its price point. Also, I couldn't really notice much hydration or other effects, so I had to use additional products to supplement my skincare routine.

Pros
I've always been curious about this product, and it turned out better than expected. It's great as a hydrating mask and seems to have a slight calming effect. Since my skin leans towards oily, I found applying it about twice was sufficient.
Cons
It can feel a bit sticky at times. This might be due to applying too much. If your skin doesn't agree with mugwort, avoid using this product.

Pros
This is my second bottle of this essence. It has a lovely mugwort scent. It's excellent for soothing the skin. The texture is watery and refreshing, leaving your skin hydrated and fresh. It even helps calm redness. For an extra boost of hydration, I soak a cotton pad with it and use it as a mask - it really moisturizes deep into the skin.
Cons
I'm From... it's quite pricey. You'll want to wait for a sale or be prepared to splurge. If you use it as a mask, you'll go through it quickly, which can feel a bit wasteful given the cost.

Pros
Instant soothing effect and deep hydration - this is one of my holy grails from Hwahae. I'm currently on my 6th bottle. Just two drops provide enough moisture, allowing me to keep my skincare routine light and simple.
Cons
The large glass bottle with a wide opening, similar to a toner bottle, can be overwhelming for those who only use a drop or two at a time.
Tip
I bought a vacuum essence container from Coupang and decanted the product, which made it much more convenient to use. For calming the skin, soaking a cotton pad generously and using it as a mask works wonders in reducing irritation.
