The non-sticky essence is probably its biggest advantage. Also, it has a mugwort-like scent that makes you feel like it's boosting your health. The amount you get is surprisingly generous!
ConsRather than feeling like it's deeply penetrating the skin, it seems to sit on the surface, so you might need to pat it in several times for better absorption.
TipI think it would work even better when used together with a hydrating moisturizer!

I also tend to break out before my period, and during seasonal changes my skin peels and gets super oily. It's a struggle! So why did I give this essence 5 stars? Let me explain: I initially bought it after watching a YouTuber's review, and it completely shattered my skepticism about new brands. When I first tried it, I dispensed some onto my palm and gently massaged it into my skin. Contrary to my expectations of it being heavy, it was incredibly hydrating with just the right texture. The fragrance is lovely, and it's been a holy grail for stabilizing my skin during seasonal changes. I feel like my complexion has brightened by a shade, and the mugwort's soothing properties have really helped calm my redness. I was also reassured by the fact that it's 100% mugwort extract with only minimal other ingredients. This seems like a great product to use year-round! Scent: A natural, fragrant mugwort aroma Texture: Water-based, but can feel a bit runny if you apply too much. Overall, it has a pleasantly light consistency! Improvements: It helped with skin irritation during seasonal changes, redness from blemishes, small pimples, and dull complexion. Value for money: While the original price might be a bit steep, it's absolutely worth it when you catch it on sale!
ConsIf I had to point out a downside: When applied with a cotton pad, if your skin is in particularly bad condition or feels tight, you might experience a slight stinging sensation. It can feel a bit slippery too!
TipHow to use it effectively: 1. For irritated skin days, try a skin pack! Soak an absorbent cotton pad and place it on your T-zone or desired areas for about 5 minutes. It's great for soothing the skin! Pro tip: Layer your favorite essence on top for even better results. 2. For daily use, dispense some into your hand and gently massage it into your skin. It absorbs quickly, leaving your skin hydrated and brightened. 3. Try adding a drop or two to your moisturizer for a light, hydrating base layer.

Since each bump was a pimple, there was overall redness across my face. 1. When using this essence, you get the feeling that it calms the redness. After applying it morning and night for about 3 days following cleansing, I noticed the redness on my forehead and entire face gradually fading. 2. It eliminates deep dryness. My skin was extremely dry underneath but oily on the surface. However, unlike other products, this one absorbs deep into the skin. 3. The bumpy texture from milia-like acne disappeared. When I touched my face, I used to feel many small bumps, but after using this product, my skin texture became smoother, and the bumpiness reduced significantly compared to before.
Cons1. Controlling the amount is crucial. If you apply too little, it evaporates quickly, and if you apply too much, it doesn't absorb well. Finding that perfect middle ground for absorption is key, but it can be challenging to determine. 2. There's some residue left on the skin. Like all products, it's unavoidable to some extent, but there's a sticky and slightly greasy feeling that remains at the end. 3. The price is high. While I'm satisfied using it, I don't think it's particularly great value for money. It's just okay.
TipApplying an appropriate amount on a cotton pad and gently wiping it along the skin's texture, or leaving it on for about 5 minutes, allows for better absorption than just patting it in with your hands. Also, you should apply it right after cleansing when your skin feels tight. If you miss this window, your skin starts producing oil, and the product tends to sit on top of the skin more.

While I never had much oil to begin with, this winter was the first time my face cracked, so I'm looking for skincare products with good hydration :) Reason for purchase: Skin blemishes due to fine dust and dryness Initial impression: Surprised by the tingling around the eyes, never experienced that with a toner before Scent: Typical mugwort smell. Really smells like mugwort Moisturizing power: It does feel moisturizing at first *After-use review: I diligently applied it three times each morning and evening, layering it, but the dryness didn't go away. Though it was a short week, I didn't feel like my skin improved. However, thin areas like around the eyes and parts in poor condition felt tingly, while other areas were fine. It felt a bit like disinfecting? (!!!I found out that products containing herbs like mugwort can cause tingling. I believe this product contains a lot of mugwort!!!) I bought it because of its reputation for being good against fine dust, but I won't repurchase unless it improves my dry skin. And above all, the price was devilish. + It didn't have any effect on my acne.
ConsMoisturizing power: Feels moisturizing but seems to just sit on the surface. Doesn't give a sense of hydration or moisture to the skin Tingling: Thin skin and areas in poor condition feel tingly. Decided to believe it's because of high mugwort content Container: Not sure if it's really glass, but it's heavy. Afraid it might break if dropped Price: Devilish... wicked.... Even if this essence was perfect for my skin, I'd think twice about the price several times *The review is in the good points. If there are additional points, I'll add more :)

I usually only used soothing skincare products because I have problematic skin, but this product is truly one of the best I've tried! My skin hasn't been acting up as much lately, but using this product makes my skin feel so smooth and supple. It's great for those looking for a toner that's not too watery. I've been using it for about 20 days and haven't had any breakouts, so I'm very satisfied!
ConsThe only downside is that it absorbs a bit slowly, which was a bit disappointing. Since it's summer, I wanted to apply it quickly and have a refreshing, cooling sensation, but there was a slightly sticky feeling on my skin.
