  Pros

  This is an item I stock up on whenever it's on sale. I've used almost all the products from the hot spring water line. It's great for light application. In summer, I just use this alone before makeup in the morning. In winter, it's better to follow up with a richer cream.

  Cons

  The ingredients are the most disappointing part. I vaguely thought it would be gentle because of the hot spring water, so I used several products, but now I'm really frustrated.

  Tip

  Highly recommended for summer only. For winter, use a richer cream. Even the rich cream isn't as greasy as you might expect.

  I like how the product absorbs well, doesn't feel oily, and has a pleasant, subtle scent.

  Cons

  I have combination dehydrated skin and don't like products that feel greasy, so I chose this hydrating gel. However, after applying it, my cheeks (under the eyes) felt a burning sensation and tingling. I thought it might be because I used an exfoliating gel before, but I tried it again the next day and the day after, only to experience the same burning and tingling, forcing me to wash it off quickly. The pouch serum I received with the purchase showed the same symptoms. This hydrating gel just didn't work for me.

  Since this product isn't particularly budget-friendly, make sure to test it before purchasing.

  Pros

  I loved the cooling effect when applied, and even though I have sensitive skin, I didn't experience any issues using the entire bottle.

  Cons

  The problem arose when I repurchased and used up another bottle. I'm not sure if it's my skin, the weather, or the product itself, but the initial cooling effect turned into a burning sensation and tingling. It also seemed to worsen my redness.

  I love the light and refreshing feel. It's deeply hydrating without any stickiness at all.

  Cons

  Whether it was due to the weather or the aftermath of a cold, I was in a terrible state with redness on both cheeks, extremely dry skin, itching, excruciating pain, and an overall explosion of dead skin cells for days. I barely recovered after visiting a dermatologist and bought this expensive product on my way back. But to my dismay, as soon as I applied it, my face felt like it was burning with intense heat and tingling sensation. The redness that the dermatologist had just managed to reduce suddenly flared up again in an instant. I bought it solely based on the Vichy brand name and its recommendation for sensitive skin... I guess I'll have to use it on my hands and feet instead.

  I have sensitive skin, but this doesn't cause any blemishes. I've been using it for over a year just based on that.

  Cons

  It's too expensive for the amount you get. It also feels a bit drying on the skin.

  Tip

  If I only apply this, I feel deep dryness. Since I have combination skin, I layered cream on top, except for my T-zone.

  I've been using this for 6 years. It's the best product for summer. You can feel it's lightweight yet packed with hydration. My acne calmed down, and my skin was flawless the entire time I used it.

  Cons

  For winter, use a rich cream instead of this gel. First-time users might experience a slight burning sensation.

  Tip

  Spray some mist, pat it in, then pat this product on before bed. Your makeup will apply beautifully the next day. It's also great to apply before makeup in the morning.
