  I dislike sticky textures, so I'm pleased that this absorbs well and applies thinly without feeling sticky.

  I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive, and this causes a tingling sensation when applied... :/

  Pros

  I like how the product absorbs well, doesn't feel oily, and has a pleasant, subtle scent.

  Cons

  I have combination dehydrated skin and don't like products that feel greasy, so I chose this hydrating gel. However, after applying it, my cheeks (under the eyes) felt a burning sensation and tingling. I thought it might be because I used an exfoliating gel before, but I tried it again the next day and the day after, only to experience the same burning and tingling, forcing me to wash it off quickly. The pouch serum I received with the purchase showed the same symptoms. This hydrating gel just didn't work for me.

  Tip

  Since this product isn't particularly budget-friendly, make sure to test it before purchasing.

  Pros

  I loved the cooling effect when applied, and even though I have sensitive skin, I didn't experience any issues using the entire bottle.

  Cons

  The problem arose when I repurchased and used up another bottle. I'm not sure if it's my skin, the weather, or the product itself, but the initial cooling effect turned into a burning sensation and tingling. It also seemed to worsen my redness.

  I love the light and refreshing feel. It's deeply hydrating without any stickiness at all.

  Cons

  Whether it was due to the weather or the aftermath of a cold, I was in a terrible state with redness on both cheeks, extremely dry skin, itching, excruciating pain, and an overall explosion of dead skin cells for days. I barely recovered after visiting a dermatologist and bought this expensive product on my way back. But to my dismay, as soon as I applied it, my face felt like it was burning with intense heat and tingling sensation. The redness that the dermatologist had just managed to reduce suddenly flared up again in an instant. I bought it solely based on the Vichy brand name and its recommendation for sensitive skin... I guess I'll have to use it on my hands and feet instead.

  I don't think this product is suitable for acne-prone, sensitive skin. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any positive aspects to highlight.

  Pros

  It has a moisturizing feel, but it's not thin or quickly absorbed. Instead, it has a bouncy texture that seems to lock in hydration well.

  Cons

  However, when I first used it after exfoliating, I broke out in hives and struggled to calm my skin down. While it didn't continue to happen in subsequent uses, those with sensitive skin should be cautious. When my skin isn't in the best condition, it doesn't cause a full reaction, but I do feel a slight tingling sensation.

  This seems perfect for winter use. It keeps my skin feeling hydrated all day long. Plus, the scent has that distinctive hyaluronic acid aroma, which I find quite pleasant.

  Cons

  One slight drawback is that it can cause a bit of tingling when applied after shaving.
