I absolutely adore this product! The mugwort scent is subtle and pleasant, not overpowering at all. It rinses off cleanly without leaving any oily residue. There's absolutely nothing to dislike about this product! I want to keep using it forever. - ww****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedFeb 1, 2024
It gives a refreshing feeling of deep cleansing! You can get it at a great price during sales. However, I'm a bit concerned about the ingredients, so I'm hesitant about repurchasing. - ca*****Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2023
It's pretty decent. The texture is not too heavy, so even those with oily skin can use it comfortably. It's so average that without a sale, it might struggle to compete with other products on the market. The photo shows how much of the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick comes off after rubbing about 3 times. - ni********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 26, 2022
♣ User Experience 1. Cleansing effectiveness: Normal : Compared to other cleansing oil products, I don't think it stands out as superior. 2. No irritation : Perhaps due to its gentle cleansing power, there was no irritation. It was mild. 3. Residue feeling: So-so : When rinsed off with water without a second cleanse, my face didn't feel squeaky clean, but had a slight oily sensation. ♣ Skin condition after use = No improvement in sebum or overall skin condition. Maintained status quo. - Day 1 of use : Cleansing effectiveness isn't bad, but it didn't remove mascara or waterproof eyeliner. Had to use a dedicated remover and wash again. - Day 3 of use : No blemishes, maintained skin condition. Some residue feeling, so did a second cleanse. - Day 5 of use : Definitely felt that daily use didn't irritate the skin. ♣ Drawbacks / Cautions - It's gentle, but as a trade-off, the cleansing power is slightly lower - Doesn't remove waterproof products, so you need to use a dedicated remover - Not recommended for those who don't react well to natural oils ♣ Summary and Pro Tip - A second cleanse is absolutely necessary - js*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 13, 2022
I was pleasantly surprised by how well it removes makeup despite having gentle ingredients! It's mild and has a subtle, pleasant scent. It rinses off cleanly at the end of my cleansing routine, leaving no residue. The lightweight and refreshing oil makes it perfect for daily use. The downside is that it contains fragrance. Also, the price is a bit steep. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 13, 2021
The scent... The packaging... Maybe it's gentle? To be honest, I can't find any real advantages. It's so slippery that I end up scrubbing really hard during the second cleanse. That's the most annoying thing about using cleansing oils, and this one is particularly bad. After using DHC and Sulwhasoo, this one feels so inferior that I gave it to my close friend. - hh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 7, 2021
The scent isn't overpowering, which is nice, and the ingredients seem gentle rather than harsh. When cleansing, it doesn't emulsify well even when rubbing with a bit of water. I felt like there was residue left and the cleansing effectiveness doesn't seem good. I use this as a first cleanse followed by the mugwort foam cleanser from the same line. After completing both steps, my face feels itchy. It seems to cause irritation. I don't usually get acne or blemishes easily, but the next morning I wake up with several pimples, clogged pores, or acne-like spots. - gu*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 16, 2020
I always use makeup remover for my eye makeup and cleansing oil for my face. This product feels light and fluid, not too thick. It rinses off well with water, leaving almost no slippery residue after washing, which I really appreciate. Since I don't use cleansing foam, this is an important factor for me! I don't have any complaints, but if you happen to dislike the scent of mugwort, you might want to try a different product. Personally, I enjoyed the subtle fragrance! - dk*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 29, 2020
I love how gentle the formula is. It feels like washing my face with fresh spring water. While it's labeled as a deep cleanser, it doesn't quite live up to that claim. It's great for removing light makeup, but for heavier looks, you'll need to cleanse two or three times. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 1, 2020
After using it, my skin doesn't feel tight at all! That's definitely a plus. First off, it doesn't emulsify well, so it's unpleasant to use every time. When I cleanse with this, my eyes get cloudy?? I've never experienced this before, it's quite alarming. Even after rinsing a lot with water, it feels like there's still oil left on my face. The fragrance is also way too strong.
