As someone with an oily scalp, I've noticed that on days I use this, my hair stays grease-free even until the next day. It really gives a squeaky-clean feeling, thoroughly cleansing right down to the scalp.
ConsIt's a bit too drying, I'd say. The scrubbing action is quite rough, and whether it's from the prolonged massaging or the salt, I experienced significant hair loss. Also, the packaging is inconvenient - you have to twist open the container and scoop out the product with your hands.
TipI found it too drying for frequent use, but using it once or twice a week turned out to be just right.

I have fine, limp hair with an oily and sensitive scalp. Even when I wash my hair every morning, it gets greasy by afternoon, and I suffer from severe blemishes - basically the worst scalp condition. My thin, lifeless hair always looks flat, and in summer, even the fan breeze carries the scent from my scalp... When everyone used to laugh at Park Myung-soo on 'Infinite Challenge' for his scalp odor, I couldn't join in. It felt too close to home. Having both an oily and sensitive scalp is an indescribable struggle. You'd think I should use a shampoo for oily hair, but if the cleansing is too strong or irritating, my scalp burns and breaks out. So I opted for a sensitive scalp shampoo and used Dr. For Hair Phytotherapy for about two years. Just as I was getting bored with it, I saw a post somewhere praising this 'Big Shampoo' and decided to give it a shot... Oh my, why didn't I try this sooner? It doesn't irritate my scalp at all. My hair stays fresh and non-greasy until I get home from work. After washing and drying, I get volume and even see some angel hair! Can you believe it? My hair used to be so dry and frizzy, but now I'm seeing angel hair! This is a first in my 3X years of life! I still get the occasional scalp blemish, but it's manageable. A small amount lathers up nicely. I use a scalp brush when washing. It feels refreshing after rinsing. I'll probably keep using this as my holy grail product for years to come.
ConsThe scent isn't to my liking. It's similar to my dog's shampoo. Also, when rinsing, my hair feels extremely rough - it's like I'm pulling out all my hair while washing it. But the worst part is the jar packaging. It's really difficult to use up completely. Having to wash my hands first before scooping out the shampoo in the busy morning is quite inconvenient.
TipThere's no special tip, really. You just open the lid, scoop out some shampoo, apply it to your scalp, lather, and rinse - that's it! Since my scalp is both oily and sensitive, I can't use many treatments, but I do use Head Spa 7 as a treatment two or three times a week. It's the only one that doesn't negatively affect my scalp. I heard that if you collect several of these jars, you can exchange them for a pack, but silly me already threw one away without knowing. Keep that in mind if you're planning to try this!

The salt granules melt away as you rub them, and with just a small amount, it lathers up well and leaves a refreshing feeling.
ConsWhile my hair is in a damaged state, after washing, my hair feels a bit stiff. A combination of refreshment and stiffness in the hair?
TipThe lather forms so well that you can scoop up a lot without using too much. If you do that, it'll be gone in no time! Also, store it in a place where water doesn't get in.

When it dries, it's amazing how natural volume is added to the scalp.
ConsHowever, the rinsing process is quite thick and difficult to rinse out~The unsanitary storage method is also concerning. But I still have the intention to repurchase.
