Deeply hydrating and brightening (highly recommended for dry skin). Surprisingly good coverage. Some cushions darken over time, but La Mer's stays truer to color, which is very satisfying. Ah... I've been using La Mer skincare products for years, and as I've gotten older, I started using cushion foundations. So I decided to try this one, but for me, it's not that great... The color is beautiful. It's moisturizing and gives a nice skin finish. Depending on your base skincare, you can achieve either a glowy or matte look. It doesn't settle into pores much either. It's moisturizing, absorbs well, and has excellent staying power. I don't think there's a better product for achieving a natural makeup look. With my combination skin, it can get excessively oily when my skin isn't at its best. Every winter, my skin becomes extremely dry. No matter what skincare products or masks I use, my makeup always flakes off. However, the La Mer cushion is truly the best I've ever tried - it doesn't flake at all. If you have dry skin, you'll be really satisfied with this during the winter months. It's expensive. It's really, really, really expensive.

As someone with large pores, I always prioritize that aspect when choosing cushion foundations, and I'm extremely satisfied with this one. While the coverage is light, I highly recommend it if you prefer a natural makeup look. Due to its low coverage, I find myself reaching for a different cushion on days when I'm dealing with blemishes.
