Cons- I don't usually use highlighter, so I'm not sure if it's good or not - It's on the matte side, so blending isn't super smooth..!

The angular shape, as opposed to circular, makes it easier to apply.
ConsI used to love the previous version for its glossy finish, but since the renewal, it's become much more matte.

You can just blend it with your fingers. The color is more suitable for jaw contouring rather than nose contouring. It has a slightly reddish tone and is quite intense. The highlighter part has some shimmer, which I'm using for my aegyo sal (under-eye area), and it looks pretty.
ConsIt sets too quickly. The finish is so matte that you could even apply it after powder.
TipIt's too powdery to apply with a brush. Warm it up with your fingers first, then spread it out.

The highlighter contains subtle, almost invisible shimmer, allowing for a natural highlighting effect.
ConsThe angled shape makes it convenient for contouring. While it's matte, due to its formula, when used alone, it can cause oil to surface in nose contour areas, so it's best to use it in combination with a powder contour.

Not sure about cool or warm undertones (tried researching online but got overwhelmed and gave up - decided to just use what I like!). However, anything with pink tends to suit me well. Etude House is super popular, but their previous lightest shade was too dark for me, and the contour was too dark and yellow, so I couldn't use it. I had high hopes for this renewed version. It's always nice to try new products! Plus, the ingredients are gentle on the skin!
ConsFirst off, it's too dry and stiff. Even though I'm drawn to matte finishes in summer, the texture feels almost crayon-like. I worry about it flaking off as I apply more. Also, I think warm-toned contours suit me better. This one looks too yellow and muddy, no matter how little I use. It's so obvious I've contoured! The shade matches me perfectly, but I'm scared the shimmer might clog my pores. Primer is a must! Lastly, the contour stick is too thick for precise nose contouring, which is inconvenient for me.

The portability is great though! I like that it has a highlighter on one end and a shading product on the other.
ConsMaybe it's because my skin is dry or because I use a matte foundation, but this product doesn't absorb well. It just sits on top of my skin without blending in properly.

This opportunity was a great chance to finally experience it. I'm grateful to the Hwahae and Etude staff for providing this opportunity:) My skin type is combination, but leans a bit more towards the 'dry' side, just to let you know. ------------------------------------------------ Comparing it to the original product: First off, I heard this new version adheres to the face more like a powder, allowing for longer-lasting wear. The body is a bit chunkier, and the part that touches the face is cut at an angle. This made it easy to use on the contours of the face, and the biggest change is that the contouring area is much wider! Now you can easily contour larger areas with just a few swipes :D Shade 01 Original is composed of the most universally flattering colors that anyone can use. It has a light highlighter and a medium brown shade that everyone will love. The highlighting part melts softly with body heat and applies with a dewy finish, while the shading part has a slightly more elastic, semi-matte feel :) It adheres naturally to the skin and isn't overwhelming. It blends very well and doesn't leave many streaks, so I think even beginners could use it easily! Compared to the lighter color, the shading color seemed to have more density and a semi-matte finish. This made it set quickly. After swiping, you need to blend immediately for a smooth application without streaks or marks. When using it, I didn't notice much base makeup coming off or pilling! The texture had a more powdery finish. I could tell it had no shine and was more dense and adhesive.
ConsFirstly, as I mentioned above, the shading color seems to have more density and a semi-matte finish. This means it sets quickly, so you need to blend fast. Secondly, the highlighting part is too white. When I looked at the product, I thought it would be fine, but when I applied it to my skin, it looked white. This was a bit disappointing. Thirdly, the shading part smudges too easily. With just one swipe, the shading gets pushed around and smudges. I thought it might be a bit difficult to use cleanly. And it turns out that the angled shape isn't necessarily better for shading. While the wider area is good for overall face contouring, it's a bit tricky to use on smaller areas. Apart from these points, it seems like a decent product:D
TipI think slightly dampening a puff for blending could be a good method too:D

Thank you so much! First off, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous. The shading color is perfect for someone with a 21 shade like me, which I really appreciate. As for the highlighter, it initially seemed too white, but once I blended it in, the shimmer really came to life and gave just the right amount of glow. I'm truly satisfied. Unlike other contouring sticks, this one has a slanted cut, making it much more convenient to use compared to other products. ConsThe only downside I noticed is that it doesn't work as well with matte foundations or cushions, which might be due to my dry skin type.
TipWell, as most of you probably know, but I'll mention it anyway - apply the shading to the sides of your cheekbones and along your jawline, then blend it out. If you have a longer face shape, you can also apply it under your chin. For the highlighter, use it on your forehead, cheekbones, nose, and so on. For nose contouring, powder-type shading products work better than stick formulas.
