Why on earth did they discontinue these? I was about to write a review after a long time, only to find out these shadows have been discontinued. Such a shame!

(This is shade #4)

1. Color: I bought 4 single eyeshadows for contouring to celebrate getting a 4-color palette, and the more I look at them, the more I love them! They appear matte, but actually have subtle shimmer, so they're closer to the shimmer category if we're being specific... If you have a warm complexion, these are shades you might want to keep on hand. It's called a budget-friendly dupe for MAC's Soba, and there's a reason for that nickname.

2. Pigmentation: Etude House shadows really excel in pigmentation. The color payoff is fantastic. They're perfect for creating depth and dimension.

3. Application: There's hardly any excess powder when applying, which makes them very user-friendly.

4. Creasing: They don't crease or crumble during use. They also have a luxurious feel to them.

5. Staying power: They don't smudge or fade. This might actually be their biggest advantage?

I thought this would be an ongoing product... I can't believe it's been discontinued!

It's incredibly soft, finely milled, and the color is gorgeous - it's perfect in every way! I always use this for my brown makeup looks. The subtle shimmer makes it absolutely stunning.

* Personally, I prefer pink coral or orange coral shades, so I didn't reach for this often. I'm not sure what makes this product stand out... (There doesn't seem to be anything else particularly noteworthy about it.)

* The color is a medium shade between beige and brown with a subtle shimmer, but it's nearly matte when applied to the eyelids.
* Minimal excess powder fallout.
* Blends smoothly without clumping.
* Reasonably priced.
* The packaging is sleek and attractive.

This eyeshadow is incredibly useful for contouring. When applied along the double eyelid line or around the outer corners of the eyes, it dramatically deepens the eye shape and makes them appear more defined. It's an excellent tool for creating depth!

There weren't really any downsides while using it. The only thing I noticed is that the container gets a bit messy with continued use, but that's something you can easily overlook.

This review is based on extensive use. I bought this eyeshadow as soon as it came out, just wanting to add some depth around my eyes. I love that it has a subtle shimmer. While the photo shows it as brown, it's actually more of a grayish-brown. The powder is incredibly fine and soft, making it a joy to use! The color is perfect for warm skin tones, and it's ideal for adding depth to the center or outer corners of the eyes.

Ideal for warm undertones in shades 21 and 22. Highly recommended for those with less prominent eyelid creases. Apply it across your eyelids for a sexy effect!

There are no downsides. None at all! This is my holy grail. While it might not suit those aiming for a very fair complexion, it's perfect for a polished, put-together makeup look!

A budget-friendly dupe for MAC Soba! It's truly beautiful. Perfect as a contour shade, and I love how the shimmer is just right - subtle yet noticeable. It's fantastic for contouring the nose, aegyo sal (under-eye puff), and all over the eyelids for an elegant look.

There is a bit of fallout. It's not severe, but there is a slight amount.

It's very similar to Mac Soba! Mac Soba is a budget-friendly option ㅎㅎ
When compared side-by-side, there are minor differences, but the color is almost identical, and the gold pearl dots are similar too.
I just bought it because the color is pretty, and when I tried it on, it was similar to Mac Soba, so I swatched and compared them, and they're really quite alike ㅎㅎ The top one is Mac Soba, and the bottom one is Coffee Cognac.

The texture is smooth and applies evenly. It's matte and velvety, with small gold pearls dotted throughout.

It's great for eyeshadow looks, easy to use, and a color that suits everyone. You can lightly add some shading to the eyelids, naturally blend it into the crease, or use it as a base to help smooth out puffiness.

Since it's so similar to Mac Soba, it's also versatile for eyeshadow looks, just like Mac Soba ㅎㅎ

The Etude House Cashmere line has a more premium-looking and prettier case than regular single eyeshadows!

There's a bit of excess powder kickup. However, when applied with fingers, the color payoff is truly gorgeous. If you use a brush that isn't soft enough, the applied product can turn back into powder and fall off.

The color payoff is intense. This could be seen as both an advantage and a disadvantage. If you carelessly apply it with your fingers, you might end up with an overly dramatic look. This is where it differs from Soft Brown - while Soft Brown can be applied quickly and still look appropriate, this one requires a bit more attention. It's better to focus on applying it to the outer corner of the eye rather than the inner corner.

I bought this product without much thought during a buy-one-get-one-free sale, but I'm using it surprisingly well. Some say it's a cheaper alternative to MAC's Soft Brown, and there is a similar feel to it. It's great for creating shadows. Interestingly, I just noticed it's made in Italy...? Why...? It's come from a place I haven't even been to myself!

Wow, I absolutely adore this unique shade! First off, the Satin Fit Eyes line itself has incredibly intense pigmentation. I've often been disappointed by the weak color payoff of Etude eyeshadows, but this one's strong pigmentation is so satisfying. The 'Coffee in Cognac' shade is perfect for creating depth and dimension. It has no red undertones at all, with just a hint of khaki and the subtlest golden shimmer that gives a soft glow. I use this color daily!

I recommend applying it gradually in light layers, rather than trying to finish your makeup in one go.

A cheaper version of MAC's Soba? Hmm... When you apply it, you'll notice the difference. Soba blends into your complexion with a deep color, while this product just feels intensely pigmented. Even a light application for nose contouring gives a stark 'pop!' effect. If you're not careful, it can look a bit like charcoal. The satin series has great color payoff, but it takes some practice to figure out how to apply it naturally on the face.

The color payoff is absolutely fantastic, and the price is budget-friendly too. Among base colors, I think this one might be the most versatile. The packaging is also quite attractive.
