Color: I bought 4 single eyeshadows for contouring to celebrate getting a 4-color palette, and the more I look at them, the more I love them! They appear matte, but actually have subtle shimmer, so they're closer to the shimmer category if we're being specific... If you have a warm complexion, these are shades you might want to keep on hand. It's called a budget-friendly dupe for MAC's Soba, and there's a reason for that nickname. 2. Pigmentation: Etude House shadows really excel in pigmentation. The color payoff is fantastic. They're perfect for creating depth and dimension. 3. Application: There's hardly any excess powder when applying, which makes them very user-friendly. 4. Creasing: They don't crease or crumble during use. They also have a luxurious feel to them. 5. Staying power: They don't smudge or fade. This might actually be their biggest advantage?
ConsWhy on earth did they discontinue these? I was about to write a review after a long time, only to find out these shadows have been discontinued. Such a shame!

I bought this eyeshadow as soon as it came out, just wanting to add some depth around my eyes. I love that it has a subtle shimmer. While the photo shows it as brown, it's actually more of a grayish-brown. The powder is incredibly fine and soft, making it a joy to use! The color is perfect for warm skin tones, and it's ideal for adding depth to the center or outer corners of the eyes.
ConsThere weren't really any downsides while using it. The only thing I noticed is that the container gets a bit messy with continued use, but that's something you can easily overlook.
TipThis eyeshadow is incredibly useful for contouring. When applied along the double eyelid line or around the outer corners of the eyes, it dramatically deepens the eye shape and makes them appear more defined. It's an excellent tool for creating depth!

It's truly beautiful. Perfect as a contour shade, and I love how the shimmer is just right - subtle yet noticeable. It's fantastic for contouring the nose, aegyo sal (under-eye puff), and all over the eyelids for an elegant look.
ConsThere are no downsides. None at all! This is my holy grail. While it might not suit those aiming for a very fair complexion, it's perfect for a polished, put-together makeup look!
TipIdeal for warm undertones in shades 21 and 22. Highly recommended for those with less prominent eyelid creases. Apply it across your eyelids for a sexy effect!

It's perfect for creating subtle shadows while the fine shimmer sparkles beautifully. I love how finely milled the powder is too!
ConsThere's a bit of excess powder kickup. However, when applied with fingers, the color payoff is truly gorgeous. If you use a brush that isn't soft enough, the applied product can turn back into powder and fall off.
TipApply with your fingers or use an extremely soft brush for best results.

There's no redness, and it has just the right amount of subtle shimmer for perfect contouring. The swatches in the photo were applied twice by hand. Here are the hand swatches: 1. Etude House Coffee in Cognac 2. Etude House Softly Dried Pine Cone 3. Etude House Coconut on the Beach 4. The Face Shop Vintage Rose 5. Innisfree Camellia at Sunset
ConsThere's nothing particularly bad to mention! Maybe the color payoff is a bit intense? But I'm really satisfied and enjoying using it.

Some say it's a cheaper alternative to MAC's Soft Brown, and there is a similar feel to it. It's great for creating shadows. Interestingly, I just noticed it's made in Italy...? Why...? It's come from a place I haven't even been to myself!
ConsThe color payoff is intense. This could be seen as both an advantage and a disadvantage. If you carelessly apply it with your fingers, you might end up with an overly dramatic look. This is where it differs from Soft Brown - while Soft Brown can be applied quickly and still look appropriate, this one requires a bit more attention. It's better to focus on applying it to the outer corner of the eye rather than the inner corner.

First off, the Satin Fit Eyes line itself has incredibly intense pigmentation. I've often been disappointed by the weak color payoff of Etude eyeshadows, but this one's strong pigmentation is so satisfying. The 'Coffee in Cognac' shade is perfect for creating depth and dimension. It has no red undertones at all, with just a hint of khaki and the subtlest golden shimmer that gives a soft glow. I use this color daily!
ConsThere seems to be a bit of excess powder fallout. Other than that, I'm completely satisfied!

It works well with toast or ginger as a base. That's why it's so versatile. It's a brown eyeshadow with almost no red undertones. There are fine shimmer particles, but they're barely noticeable when applied to the eyelids.
ConsThere's significant excess powder fallout, and the texture is clumpy and rough. It's not a smooth texture, which means it gets used up quickly.
TipIt's great for emphasizing shadows or for everyday makeup looks.

It's perfect for those moments when you want more than a bare lid but don't want to go full glam. Just applying this to your eyelids and inner corners adds depth and beauty to your eyes. Looking at the pan, you'll notice lots of tiny shimmer particles, but once applied, it looks almost matte. The shimmer is there if you look closely, giving it a subtle dimension that's not completely flat. The color is gorgeous and not too intense, making it an ideal everyday shadow for creating depth. I've repurchased it multiple times and can't recommend it enough. You'll want to buy it again and again!
ConsThere's not much to complain about, but if I had to nitpick, a piece of the outer edge chipped off without me dropping it. It's disappointing because I don't know how it happened.
TipIt's an absolute game-changer as a base shadow. You need to try it!

The shade is perfect for contouring, leaning more towards neutral. It contains tiny, delicate shimmer in pink, sky blue, and gold. When applied, it doesn't feel heavy and gives a subtle, smooth appearance. I'm not sure about excess powder, but there's a slight tendency to clump. It's not bothersome when applied with fingers. The color payoff is true to the shadow in the pan, perhaps appearing a bit clearer(?), but it's almost identical. While there are many similar contouring shades on the market, this one seems unique. Something about its clear quality(?) prevents it from looking like a bruise, which is great.
ConsI bought it online, and the color is quite different from what's shown on the website. It's much lighter than the website color. If you're expecting a deep shade, you might be surprised.
TipIf you're buying Satin Fit Eyes, get 'Blanc Moscato' too. It has a subtle, fine shimmer that sparkles beautifully. Apply a brown shade for contouring, then lightly dust this under your eyes for a natural, gorgeous look.
