Although it's shade 19, it's not extremely light, so I use it as a highlighter even though I'm shade 21. The tension formula seems to apply even more thinly. I used to be biased against Missha's designs, but this case is glossy, luxurious, and beautiful.
ConsAfter using it for a while, the glow seems to fade away. Now it feels more matte when applied.

However, when it breaks down, it tends to clump together. The case is so pretty that I just carry it around to use as a mirror.
ConsI usually use shades 13 to 17, and I bought this because it was the lightest, but it doesn't match my skin tone.

It's a safe choice for everyday use.
ConsThe darkening effect is too intense, completely ruining the base makeup. Plus, it transfers way too much.

Unlike other products that tend to break up and clump, this one doesn't pill at all. As time passes, it develops a natural, dewy finish that looks like your skin but better. Even when you touch up, it doesn't cake or bunch up. There's hardly any transfer around the nose area if you prep your skin well. It's perfect for those with dry, normal, or combination skin with few blemishes! If you have oily skin and want to use this, a mattifying powder is a must.
ConsIf you have very oily skin, this might melt away within a few hours, leaving you with more of a 'glowy bare skin' look. It might not be suitable if you're looking for a high-coverage cushion to conceal a lot of blemishes or imperfections. This works best for those with dry or normal skin types who don't need much coverage.
TipFor those with dry or combination skin, to prevent your makeup from looking patchy, pay extra attention to skincare around your eyes and mouth where there's more movement. If you have combination to oily skin, I'd recommend lighter skincare on your nose to avoid excess oil later. Those with bangs and combination-oily skin should also go light on forehead skincare. If you're a bit older with drying skin but want to try drugstore brands for fun or budget reasons, this product is spot on!

The glow it gives is beautiful!
ConsFor a product marketed as a 'glow cushion', it's rather matte. Not recommended for extremely dry skin.

It gives a nice glow even in winter, making your skin look great (it pairs perfectly with Hera's Sun Mate, applying much more moisturizing than with the Glow Tension Cream). It's pretty decent - it covers pores well, and while I haven't tested it with sweat, it's good for everyday use. Considering the ingredients, it's an excellent product. It doesn't cause blemishes or emphasize texture.
ConsWhy did I buy this again? I'm having regrets. I initially bought the Vanilla shade in a Glow Tension set with the cream, but it was too dull. I liked how it felt on my skin, so I repurchased in 19 Ivory. But wow, there's barely any difference. I'm not sure of my exact shade, but I use somewhere between 13-17. If you're in that range and considering this, just skip it. You'll find it too dark. It might be okay for warm or yellow undertones, but if you're pink-toned, run away! I bought it because it was supposedly unusually light for Missha, but it's not light at all. It looks yellowish and not bright. It might work for those who usually use 21 but want something a bit brighter. As you can see in the photos, there's hardly any difference - I thought I'd accidentally swatched the same color twice at first. Update after use: Whoa, the darkening is real! I've been using this daily with Hera sunscreen because I'm too lazy for full makeup, and when I get home, my face looks tanned. The darkening effect is no joke.
TipI bought the refill in Ivory for 8500 won on Coupang. If you're planning to buy 21 but prefer a lighter shade, definitely get this one. The regular 21 is too dull. Pink-toned folks, please avoid this.

The subtle glow it gave made my complexion look nice
ConsWhen it started to break down, the excessive shine didn't look great. Personally, I'm sensitive to scents, so I found the smell quite unpleasant. It had that typical cosmetic fragrance, you know? Apart from that, it's a decent cushion overall.

However, since it's a glowy product, it doesn't provide perfect coverage. You'll need to use concealer for full coverage! <Dewy Finish> As someone who loves radiant skin, I'm extremely satisfied with the dewy effect! It's truly fantastic. If you apply it with oil, the glow becomes even more vibrant. <Longevity> When I apply it in the morning, it starts to break down a little bit after lunchtime, but if you gently pat it with a cushion, your skin looks fresh again. The staying power isn't bad at all. <Shade> For me, who uses shade 17, the color was a perfect match. Some cushions only come in shades up to 21, but Missha Glowtension offers various shades, making it easier to find your match.
ConsApart from the slightly lacking coverage, it seems like a solid product without any major drawbacks.

It gives a bright, fair complexion. The coverage is among the best I've experienced with cushions - it conceals most imperfections without needing a separate concealer! There's a pleasant cooling effect, and my makeup always applies smoothly, perhaps due to its hydrating nature. Plus, the glow it maintains all day is absolutely stunning!
ConsThe longevity could be better. Because it's so hydrating, it tends to wear off easily around the forehead and nose areas. Also, it's a bit prone to leaving marks from hair strands.
TipFor a natural, sheer skin look, I recommend applying this over a light base skincare routine!

When applied, it gives a subtle radiance and luminosity. The shade is perfect for me, as I have a naturally bright complexion and couldn't use other cushions well. It's slightly on the brighter side with minimal grayish undertones, which I'm very satisfied with. Moreover, I was worried about blemishes since I have super sensitive skin, but I didn't experience any irritation at all!
ConsThe downside is that it tends to apply a bit thick. For someone like me who prefers a sheer application, this is a significant drawback. Also, the glow isn't as intense as I expected! I wouldn't recommend it to those who want a more pronounced luminosity like I do. I don't prioritize coverage much, but for those who desire high coverage, this might not be the best choice either!
TipTo prevent thick application, use a cushion puff to pick up small amounts of product, then finish with a water drop puff. This helps achieve a thin, even application. It also enhances the dewy glow. Of course, everyone knows the importance of proper skincare beforehand, right?!
