This is the cushion that works best for me, so I came to write a review. I was surprised to see many negative comments saying it doesn't suit them... It really shows how different products can work for different people. I have sensitive skin prone to small blemishes, dark circles, and combination dehydrated skin. Neither matte nor hydrating products usually work for me. But I tried this a few years ago and loved it, so I'm leaving a review. 1. Complexion: The staff recommended shade 19. I have fair skin, but using a very light base makes me look ghostly and my face appears rounder. So I liked that this matched my skin tone without brightening it too much. 2. Adherence: This cushion really sticks to the skin! It has the best adherence of any cushion or base I've tried. It doesn't apply thickly but adheres thinly and well. 3. Longevity: Not only does it last, but it looks even prettier as it wears. It breaks down naturally and beautifully, giving a non-greasy glow that makes your skin look good. The downside is the case... It's not a major inconvenience, but fingerprints show easily on it, and the material seems to peel off slightly. I don't usually check ingredients for cushions like I do for skincare, but the ingredients in this aren't as good as I expected. When wearing a mask these days, it might transfer a bit. The humidity might also cause it to separate. The cushion looks best after it's been on for a while... It may vary for everyone, but I found it looked most natural and beautiful as it wore down. (The photo was taken long after applying makeup, so there's some oil on the nose area, but I like the subtle glow it gives.) - jw****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 26, 2020
Even though it's shade 19, it's not overly bright, so I used it well. It's disappointing that this cushion foundation applies quite thick, which doesn't align with current makeup trends. - gi*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 11, 2020
It absorbs thinly yet has great staying power. Although it's shade 19, it's not extremely light, so I use it as a highlighter even though I'm shade 21. The tension formula seems to apply even more thinly. I used to be biased against Missha's designs, but this case is glossy, luxurious, and beautiful. After using it for a while, the glow seems to fade away. Now it feels more matte when applied. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 27, 2020
True to its name, this tension cushion gives a glowing finish. The shade matched my skin better than the 21 Vanilla color. The texture felt thicker than I expected. I prefer a more sheer coverage, so that might be why it felt that way to me. However, this seems to be a characteristic that comes with the glowy finish, so it might be a matter of personal preference. - 13******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedAug 23, 2020
I'm on my third bottle because it keeps my skin hydrated and gives me a beautiful complexion It's a bit disappointing that it tends to break down, but finishing with powder makes it okay - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
After buying one, I loved the scent and how well it absorbs, so I purchased two more. It feels incredibly refreshing, which I adore! When I use cushions that are too thick, my skin immediately feels heavy, but this one doesn't have that issue, which is great. It tends to leave marks, possibly due to wearing masks. However, it's not a major disappointment since you can just pat it again to fix it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2020
The best thing is how it creates a subtle, dewy complexion with an Inner Glow... However, when it breaks down, it tends to clump together. The case is so pretty that I just carry it around to use as a mirror. I usually use shades 13 to 17, and I bought this because it was the lightest, but it doesn't match my skin tone. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2020
True to its name, it gives a radiant glow and keeps skin moisturized. It's a safe choice for everyday use. The darkening effect is too intense, completely ruining the base makeup. Plus, it transfers way too much. - zo*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 3, 2020
As someone with sensitive skin, I've been a cushion nomad, searching for products with gentle ingredients. I finally found this Glow Tension Cushion with only two caution ingredients. Though I usually dislike fragrances, I love the scent of this one! Compared to other cushions, it rarely cakes or separates. The color is bright and radiant, and I'm thrilled it doesn't have that grayish undertone. Unlike some Missha BB creams that can look ashy, this cushion gives a bright, lively complexion! Despite its name, the Glow Tension doesn't provide much of a glossy radiance, which is a bit disappointing. On the bright side, it sets to a powdery finish without feeling sticky. I just wish it had a bit more glow! Occasionally, I notice some small bumps appearing - I suspect there might be some pore-clogging ingredients in the formula. Depending on your skin condition, on days when your makeup doesn't seem to adhere well or appears to be pilling, try this trick: mix in a drop or two of aloe gel, ampoule, or essence with the cushion. It absorbs seamlessly, calming any patchiness and making your makeup look flawless. Many of you might already know this, but I think it's truly one of the best beauty hacks out there! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2020
For a cushion, its luminosity is quite impressive. The coverage is substantial among its peers. That's why it's crucial to apply it with careful control of the amount. Otherwise, the face might appear heavy. It's a formula that women in their mid-twenties to thirties would appreciate. It gives that feeling of providing coverage while also imparting a glow. Younger users might feel that this kind of skin expression could potentially make their skin tone appear somewhat dull. The transfer is quite severe. This seems unavoidable in the pursuit of a glowy effect, but it's still a bit excessive. Some say the darkening is significant, which might be because in trying to add luminosity to a high-coverage cushion formula, it tends to break down faster if applied directly without a base. That's my thought on it. It pairs well with a slightly matte-moisturizing base. Using it alone results in severe transfer.
