I really liked how this product applies lightly and feels hydrating. I usually use shade 23 for base products, but this product's shade 23 seemed slightly darker than my skin tone. The product applies more thinly and lightly than a BB cream, so you can expect almost no coverage. The staying power wasn't particularly good either - it seemed to break down quickly. I don't think I've ever had blemishes from using this product. It gives a subtle glow and the scent isn't off-putting at all! I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a really natural and hydrating product.
ConsBecause it applies so thinly, the coverage seems quite weak. Also, the staying power is too short. I wouldn't recommend this to people who are looking to buy a product focused on coverage or longevity.

ConsUnfortunately, it lacks staying power and tends to break down messily. It also has a tendency to darken the skin tone over time.

It's like I'm not wearing anything! Perfect for a natural brightening moisturizer effect and concealing minor blemishes. With shade 23, I didn't notice much brightening, but people said my skin just looked a bit healthier. Highly recommended for those wanting a natural-looking complexion! 2. It's so hydrating!! Usually, no matter what foundation I use, my skin feels tight when I wash my face after coming home (If I use powder, it's dry, and if I don't, it's oily... what to do?). But with this foundation, even after wearing it for a long time, it doesn't dry out at all! I've never used such a hydrating foundation! It must be amazing for those with dry skin!! 3. The glow is beautiful Even though shade 23 doesn't provide whitening, the glow is... wow, the glow is truly beautiful. It makes my skin look so healthy. It's not an oily shine, but a real dewy glow.
Cons1. The biggest drawback is definitely the staying power It really doesn't last long. My skin tends to get oily, and after a few hours, the foundation completely disappears... For me, after about three hours, my face starts to look dull... It seems to darken a bit over time. (Since the product's main point is its natural look, I won't comment on its coverage!)
TipA beauty YouTuber mentioned in a video that for lightweight, water-like foundations like this, you should choose a shade slightly lighter than your skin tone! Because it applies so thinly, you can get away with a lighter shade!! I agree with this!! My skin is on the darker side, so even though shade 23 looked a bit lighter than my skin tone, when I applied it, there was no brightening effect at all... I should have bought shade 22. If you want a brightening effect, I highly recommend testing it out and generally opting for a lighter shade! (As you can see in the photo, it's very runny and tends to drip!)

It offers good coverage and applies thinly and evenly.
ConsThe longevity is a bit disappointing. It tends to wear off easily.

I used to use Inni*** foundation, but it would crack and lift badly. I didn't realize it was because it applied too thickly. However, after using this product, I noticed a huge difference in texture and adherence. As a Hwahae Tester, I received a sample size and I'm loving it so much that I plan to purchase the full-size product when I run out. If it weren't for this event, I would never have thought to try this product!
ConsThe downside is that the coverage is a bit weak. It's not an issue for me since I don't prioritize coverage, but for those who do, you might need to use concealer well. Also, I noticed the staying power on the forehead area is a bit lacking. I wonder why? It seems to fade away easily from the forehead.
TipApply with a foundation brush or damp sponge, then use concealer for spot coverage and brightening - it creates such a natural and smooth skin finish! Oh, and since I have large pores on my nose, the thin adherence made them more noticeable. Using a primer would probably help a lot. As for longevity, I found that mixing it with Mi* novice BB cream seemed to improve it.

I was lucky enough to try out the Missha Skindation in shade 23 Sand. My skin is on the dry side with slightly visible pores around my nose. While I don't have much texture, my complexion tends to be yellowish and uneven, so evening out my skin tone is a priority for me. The foundation I usually use is the Etude House Double Lasting Foundation in Neutral Beige, which has a slight grayish undertone. It's about a shade 21, matching the lightest parts of my skin. When I first swatched the Missha product on my hand, it looked a bit dark with reddish undertones. I was worried it might make my face look dull and tanned, but that wasn't the case at all when applied. It actually matches the darker areas of my face quite well. This is my first time trying shade 23, and I was pleasantly surprised by how it evened out my overall complexion, giving a natural skin-like finish that matched my neck perfectly. It actually gave me a healthy, slightly tanned look that I really liked! I also layered my usual lighter foundation on areas like my cheekbones where I wanted more brightness, which prevented any overall darkness. With my usual matte foundation, my skin often looked dry and flaky, especially in colder weather. But with this product as a base, I didn't experience any of that. Instead, it gave me a beautiful glow that I absolutely loved!
ConsHowever, being a hydrating formula, its longevity isn't the best and it absorbs quite quickly. As time passed, discoloration around my mouth and uneven areas became more noticeable. It also transferred quite a bit onto my phone.

After just 3-4 hours of applying makeup at 8 AM, my face gets super shiny. Oil blotting sheets are a must! I've never had severe blemishes, so I'm not too picky about ingredients. The texture is like an emulsion? It's not as runny as a toner, but it does flow a bit like an emulsion. The good points... it definitely feels hydrating and gives a nice glow... It's great for a light, natural makeup look. However!! If you prefer a matte finish, powder is essential! I think this would suit dry skin better than oily skin.
ConsAs you can see in the photo, my pores are quite large. I usually use a pore primer, but I tried this without it. Since it's lightweight, it doesn't fully cover the pores. Also, for oily skin like mine, if you're not careful, it can look less like a glow and more like excess oil... When using this, I definitely need to apply powder. It starts to break down after just 3-4 hours... Even with makeup fixer spray... Maybe it's because I have very oily skin. The staying power isn't great either... I need to touch up by lunchtime... It feels more like a brightening moisturizer than a foundation. Since I'm usually too lazy to do a full face and just use cushion foundation, This alone isn't enough... It's inconvenient to carry around for touch-ups, so I won't be purchasing it.
