I've used this on both my kids since they were newborns. I didn't realize it contained a cautionary ingredient. The way it absorbs is fantastic, and I love that it's fragrance-free. Many people in Germany use Penaten, and I felt even more at ease using the sensitive version. The hydration is great, and I had no complaints. It's also good value for money. I applied Penaten in summer and oil in winter for my children.

The downside was that when I got pregnant and my skin completely changed, I stopped using it as often. It has some richness to it, and after applying, it felt a bit heavy, so I ended up wiping it off. This was something I hadn't noticed before pregnancy, so I plan to use it again after giving birth.

My skin is super sensitive and even if a product is supposedly good and gentle, if it doesn't suit me, I end up with blemishes, redness, and itching. I usually have to scratch all day or wash it off immediately. But when I was living in Germany, I stumbled upon this product through a recommendation. Before, I used to apply more than five different basic skincare products, but with this cream alone, I felt like it took care of hydration, soothing, and blemish care all at once. I'm really enjoying using it.

For particularly dry areas, I found it works well to apply a layer, let it absorb, and then layer it once or twice more. This technique really helps with deep hydration!

The only downside is that the jar can be difficult to open when your hands are slippery. I think a tube format would be more convenient to use, so that's one area for improvement.

It's a third of the price, and although the volume isn't as much, the effects are the best. It absorbs beautifully, keeps the body hydrated, and quickly reduces redness. You know how Penaten cream has that thick, hard-to-spread texture that's just awful? Well, this is the complete opposite - it's fantastic!

While it's mild and provides some hydration, I wouldn't say its moisturizing power is exceptional. Generally, when you think of a cream, you expect something richer and more hydrating than an emulsion. However, this doesn't feel particularly thick or super hydrating.

I switched from Physiogel to this after getting a recommendation, as Physiogel was getting too pricey. First off, the value for money is fantastic - you get a generous amount that you can apply liberally. It's wonderfully hydrating and glides on smoothly. Since it's gentle enough for babies, our whole family uses it, including my husband and me. We're all loving how it absorbs!
