I didn't realize it contained a cautionary ingredient. The way it absorbs is fantastic, and I love that it's fragrance-free. Many people in Germany use Penaten, and I felt even more at ease using the sensitive version. The hydration is great, and I had no complaints. It's also good value for money. I applied Penaten in summer and oil in winter for my children.
ConsIf there's any flaw, it's that it contains one cautionary ingredient. Otherwise, I think it's flawless.

After using Weleda Calendula Emulsion, I switched to this. It's a third of the price, and although the volume isn't as much, the effects are the best. It absorbs beautifully, keeps the body hydrated, and quickly reduces redness. You know how Penaten cream has that thick, hard-to-spread texture that's just awful? Well, this is the complete opposite - it's fantastic!
ConsIt runs out quickly because you end up using it generously. I applied it liberally all over my baby's body, and one tube was gone in just two weeks.

First off, the value for money is fantastic - you get a generous amount that you can apply liberally. It's wonderfully hydrating and glides on smoothly. Since it's gentle enough for babies, our whole family uses it, including my husband and me. We're all loving how it absorbs!
ConsWhile it's mild and provides some hydration, I wouldn't say its moisturizing power is exceptional. Generally, when you think of a cream, you expect something richer and more hydrating than an emulsion. However, this doesn't feel particularly thick or super hydrating.
