I've been using this affordable, versatile semi-matte foundation for over a year now! It's great for daily use! Coverage: While it's not full coverage, it does a decent job. It covers pores well and softens the appearance of blemishes and acne scars. For complete coverage, you'll need a separate concealer. The coverage is better than the Romand Zero Cushion but not as good as the Lilybyred Cotton Cushion. Amount: A little goes a long way, so even though the container is small, it lasts a long time. Its cute size makes it convenient to carry around and fits perfectly in your makeup pouch. Application: When I first used it a year ago, it reminded me of the Espoir foundation. Turns out, they have similar ingredients! It has a semi-matte texture, but as a combination skin type, I find it doesn't become too matte with continued use. I even used it comfortably during winter! Longevity: It looks beautiful when first applied, but after a while, it gives the impression of wearing less makeup. I've been using other products recently, so the comparison might make me more aware of this. However, it doesn't break down badly. Dryness: For those with dry skin, this foundation can definitely feel matte, so a good skincare routine is crucial! I was torn between shade 21 and 22, but I'm glad I chose 22 Beige! It's just slightly brighter than my natural complexion, giving a fresh look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 21, 2021
I bought this after watching Director Pi's video and have used about 6 bottles. It's really small, but surprisingly long-lasting. The container is packed full without any waste. Great value for money. You can buy 3-4 of these on sites like Tmon for under $20... awesome! If you have a solid skincare routine, it breaks down beautifully without cracking. The coverage is also medium to high. Apply it by patting with a puff. Oh, and even if you think your face is pale, go for shade #2 Beige. Shade #1 is extremely light. I mix them when I apply. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 6, 2021
Scent: A strong baby powder fragrance mixed with cosmetic ingredient notes. Application: Glides on moisturizing and sets to a semi-matte finish. Coverage: 'Medium-high' - Despite its lightweight application, it effectively conceals blemishes. Skin Appearance: Applies thinly and lightly, setting to a semi-matte finish for a soft, powdery look. The lighter shade is great for brightening the inner parts of the face. Provides a natural brightening effect! There's a bit of darkening effect, and it tends to settle into fine lines around the nose. Unfortunately, it doesn't wear off gracefully. Try using it with a damp sponge + setting spray or a solid skincare base + regular sponge combination for best results! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 8, 2020
The coverage and adherence are excellent. It's great value for money. Unfortunately, the staying power isn't that good. When it wears off, it tends to break down in an unflattering way. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 5, 2020
When applied, it feels pleasantly moisturizing and becomes matte over time. Initially, the coverage is quite decent! It tends to transfer a bit too much, and as time passes, all the covered imperfections start to show through. There seems to be some slight darkening, and it gradually breaks down. It's disappointing when it crumbles and clumps up as it wears off. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 22, 2020
The most significant advantage is its affordability. Personally, I loved how it brightened up my complexion. The slightly runny texture allowed for a thin, even application. Although the formula is fluid, it sets to a slightly matte finish right after application, making it easy to apply. I didn't experience any darkening of my skin. You can clearly see dead skin cells coming up. While it's matte right after application, it tends to break down as oil comes through. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I didn't find the staying power impressive, nor did it prevent deep dryness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 30, 2020
At first, it creates a beautifully even complexion and brightens the skin, making your complexion look fresh and clean. Everyone asks what I'm using for my base makeup. It completely falls apart in the most awful way... Works amazingly well with a damp makeup sponge. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 13, 2020
Texture: It has a water-like consistency that absorbs well, which is great. Coverage: The coverage is not bad either. Longevity: The staying power is really... it doesn't even last 3 hours. Transfer: It transfers a lot... quite significantly. Too runny: It's so thin that there's a bit of pilling. Sweat: It comes off easily with sweat... and doesn't break down gracefully. If you apply it with a foundation brush first, then use a beauty sponge, and finish with a setting spray, the longevity is decent. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 18, 2020
Skin type: Extremely oily skin with large pores and some blemishes Excellent adherence: With its fluid-like texture, this product adheres quickly to the skin. Apply it swiftly with a brush, then pat it in with a damp sponge for an incredibly thin, well-adhered finish. Lightweight feel: Perfect for a sheer application. While it can be tricky to control the amount, once you get the hang of it, it sits on the skin so thinly that it feels incredibly natural. Moisturized yet matte: It sets quickly for a powder-like finish, but I've never felt that my skin was dry underneath. Poor longevity: While it looks beautiful in winter, it breaks down quickly in summer. Unfortunately, it doesn't fade gracefully but tends to separate, making touch-ups challenging. Packaging issues: The container design makes it difficult to use neatly. Given its water-like consistency and the bottle's nipple-like opening, it's already hard to apply cleanly. The need to shake before use makes it even more challenging to manage. For a beautiful skin finish, apply small dots with your fingers, quickly blend with a brush, then layer more product where needed. Any brush streaks can be smoothed out by patting with a damp sponge. If you find using a brush tedious, you can use just the damp sponge, remembering to build up the product gradually for a flawless complexion. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 29, 2020
I bought this after watching Director Pi's video! First off, I think the best advantage is its value for money. And the ingredients are pretty good too, in my opinion. It applies moisturizing but finishes matte. The staying power is just average! It tends to break down a bit... Powder helps, but it's too drying to use powder in winter, so that's a bit disappointing. I have a light 21 shade, and mixing shades 1 and 2 of this product gives me the perfect match! Shade 1 was too light and shade 2 was too dark on its own.
