Smooth powder texture that applies without emphasizing dead skin cells. Great color payoff. The deep undertone light shade is perfect for a fluorescent lip look. Despite the deep undertone, it brightens up your complexion. I usually prefer glossy formulas, so the matte finish is a bit disappointing. However, the color is absolutely gorgeous and fits perfectly. It looks stunning when you use a light lip color as a base and apply this lipstick on the inner part of your lips. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 14, 2023
@ First, I absolutely love the vibrant color that brightens up my deep undertone complexion. @ The application is smooth and the color payoff is excellent. @ I'm really impressed with the velvety finish. @ When reapplying after some time, it can accentuate dead skin cells on the lips. @ It transfers easily, leaving clear lip prints on straws and paper cups. @ If you're looking for a glass-like lip finish, this might not be for you. @ For a beautiful full lip look, blot with a tissue after application, then reapply. This also helps reduce transfer. @ Highly recommended for those with deep undertone skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 2, 2023
I absolutely adore the MAC Powder Kiss lipstick! It's just lightly powdery on the surface, so it doesn't feel uncomfortable on the lips at all. It's not that dry matte finish that cracks and flakes. The color is gorgeous, and it has great staying power! It's an especially beautiful shade for those with deep undertones. There's honestly nothing bad to say! If I had to nitpick, it might have a slightly fluorescent feel. It's quite a bright shade, so it looks much prettier in spring and summer rather than fall or winter. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 6, 2022
Although it's a matte lip product, it makes your lips feel more velvety than completely matte. It doesn't emphasize dead skin cells too much, which is great. The color is also beautiful. It's perfect for those with a deep undertone and light skin! When you reapply it multiple times for touch-ups, it inevitably starts to emphasize dead skin cells. If this happens, completely remove it or apply a thin layer of lip balm before reapplying, and it'll be fine again. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 6, 2021
True to the Powder Kiss line, this lipstick has a delightfully velvety application that's simply irresistible. It's matte without being drying, making it a comfortable wear for your lips. The color is a gorgeous flower pink, or should I say, a vibrant coral-red that truly captures the essence of spring! As a light spring warm tone myself, I always reach for this product when wearing high-chroma outfits. I highly recommend it for those with spring warm undertones or anyone who looks great in high-chroma, high-brightness colors. It really helps you embody that perfect spring look! The dead skin cells accentuation... You need to mentally prepare yourself the night before applying this. Just close your eyes and hope for the best with your flaky bits! Pairs perfectly with high-chroma outfits! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 16, 2021
The light shade with a deep undertone really matches my skin perfectly! The application is smooth and powdery, but not too drying - it's just right! I've always used the Powder Kiss line, so there's nothing particularly disappointing about this one. If you have a deep undertone, you absolutely must grab this! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 16, 2021
As a warm-toned person, I was curious if this would suit me, so I decided to give it a try. Although it didn't quite match my autumn warm undertones, I was pleasantly surprised by other aspects. The finish was delightfully powdery and matte - truly living up to the Powder Kiss line's reputation! Given its matte nature, it did tend to accentuate any dead skin cells on the lips. This product works well both on its own and when layered with other lip products. I'd particularly recommend it for those with summer cool tones or spring light complexions! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 26, 2020
☆Color☆ A beauty that's hard to put into words - simply stunning! ☆Matte yet not drying☆ While it's definitely on the drier side, the Powder Kiss line feels a bit more velvety than the regular MAC line. It's like it has a blurred effect? Less stiff on the lips. I tend to have dry lips with lots of fine lines, and while it can accentuate them when my lips aren't in great condition, on good days this lipstick actually works quite well for me. &Dryness& It feels quite dry on the lips. Is this just a characteristic of MAC lipsticks? The color is beautiful, but the dryness is extreme. &Poor longevity& It doesn't stay on the lips for very long. The color fades quickly when eating and drinking through a straw. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAug 21, 2020
It's a beautiful coral shade. The powder kiss formula feels velvety and looks gorgeous. Unfortunately, it tends to pill a bit. It has a chocolate-like scent, which might be hit or miss for some people. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 19, 2020
The MAC Powder Kiss lipstick feels different from their traditional lipsticks, with a soft, velvety application that's both smooth and powdery. Even the case has a matte finish. The 'Mandarin O' shade is perfect for light spring warm tones. It's a delicate salmon hue that looks incredibly soft and beautiful. The Powder Kiss texture might be hit-or-miss for some, and it does have a tendency to transfer. Also, if you prefer highly pigmented colors, this shade might not meet your expectations. Try layering Shu Uemura 144 over this lipstick for a truly stunning look.
