The MAC Powder Kiss line has the advantage of applying more smoothly and with a velvety finish compared to their matte line. This means even those who don't typically suit very matte lipsticks can wear these without hesitation! If you prefer high-intensity fuchsia shades combined with a formula that absorbs well with a soft matte finish, I highly recommend trying MAC 306 Shocking Revelation. Since my lips are relatively small compared to my other facial features, applying it as a full lip color made me feel oddly constricted. - ky*****Combination SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedNov 29, 2023
It absorbs just the way I want it to, and when cleansing, it washes off cleanly without leaving any residue. While it doesn't provide the intense brightening effect I was hoping for, which is a bit disappointing, it does give a lively appearance when applied to bare skin. - js*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 7, 2023
As a winter cool-toned vivid type, this shade suited me perfectly! It's not an overly intense color, but rather a nicely subdued fuchsia pink. Applying it over a base lip color and blending it in a gradient style makes it look much prettier and absorbs beautifully. When applied directly without a base lip color, it doesn't go on as attractively. - ha********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRednessRecommendedJan 23, 2022
Perfect lip color for cool tones! If you have a summer cool tone, I recommend applying it lightly and blending for a gradient effect. For winter cool tones, a full lip application would look beautiful. The color is somewhere between a blue-tinted red and pink. It's pinker than Ruby Woo. There wasn't anything particularly bad! Those who prefer glossy products might find it a bit matte, but that's easily solved by applying lip balm on top. I prefer a lighter application, so I applied just a touch and blended it with a lip brush. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedOct 30, 2021
It absorbs smoothly, which is great. The color payoff is beautiful too. It seems perfect for those with cool or winter undertones. Those who prefer matte finishes might find this a bit disappointing. - el******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 24, 2021
The texture is powdery, and the color is a mix of hot pink and red. When applied lightly, it leans more pink, and when applied heavily, it's closer to red. Highly recommended for summer cool tones and winter bright tones. Even among deep undertones, those with fair skin might want to try this when they're in the mood for a cool lip color! As someone with a deep winter cool tone and not-so-fair skin, this shade wasn't particularly flattering on me. It seems like it would come off easily when eating, so frequent touch-ups might be necessary. Also, it tends to settle into fine lines. - ye*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedAug 14, 2021
It's perfect for summer cool tones... The color payoff is richer and more voluminous on the lips compared to the Mandarin Oh from the same line. I'm extremely satisfied and use this product frequently. It's a cool-toned red-pink with blue undertones. This shade is suitable for both summer cool and winter cool skin tones. It applies lightly and smoothly, making it a go-to product! The case has a soft, velvety texture. It tends to melt in the summer... The surface gets slightly melty, which is disappointing. The case gets dirty easily, similar to NARS blushers. For summer cool tones, I recommend applying it lightly. For winter cool tones, a more intense application works best! - cs*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 3, 2021
As someone with cool undertones, I can confidently say this is the holy grail for those with warm undertones! Hmm, it's not suitable for oily skin. It feels a bit powdery and slightly emphasizes dead skin cells. - rb******Combination SkinRecommendedMar 29, 2021
A red with a blue undertone and a hint of pink. A shade that suits those with cool undertones perfectly. Too deep a shade for those with light undertones. Unfortunately, the blue undertone doesn't seem to work well for me. - is*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 8, 2020
I prefer applying it lightly with a brush, and the staying power is truly impressive. I believe longevity is crucial for lipsticks, so there's not much to complain about. If I had to nitpick, it might be the slight orange staining? But honestly, it doesn't bother me much since I reapply as needed.
