The subtle honey fragrance is pleasant and not overwhelming at all - it really lifts my mood! The texture is exactly what I was looking for - that rich, creamy consistency that's so satisfying. You do need to apply a bit more, but that just means it provides even better hydration! I have dry skin, and sometimes after putting on makeup in the morning, my skin would feel tight and uncomfortable. But with this product, I didn't experience any dryness all winter long. At night, I'd layer my skincare - toner, essence, emulsion - and finish with this Ginger Honey cream. Even by the next morning, my skin still felt moisturized and not dry at all. I'm really satisfied with this cream!
ConsAs I mentioned earlier, because of its rich, creamy texture, you do need to apply a bit more product. This means it seems to run out faster, which is a bit disappointing.

ConsHowever, even though it's called Ginger Honey, I expected the ginger scent to be milder. Surprisingly, the ginger fragrance is much stronger than anticipated... I won't be using it again, mainly because of the scent.

I used the Innisfree Derma Formula Skin Barrier Cream for a long time, but when winter came, I found it wasn't quite hydrating enough. So, I switched to this Ginger Honey Cream, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it! It's incredibly rich and has a thick, balm-like consistency. Despite that, it leaves my skin feeling soft and velvety - thanks to its perfect balance of richness!
ConsMany people mentioned the scent, which made me hesitant at first. But I've grown to like it more and more!

It has a nice, rich texture.
ConsIt's just average. Nothing special about it, and I don't see any notable effects. Just a basic item.

I recently used a sample that came with my Wrinkle Science purchase. The expiration date is quite generous! The fragrance is lovely. As someone who enjoys both honey and ginger, I find the scent to be a subtle honey aroma, though not quite ginger-like. It reminds me of acacia gum - you know, that sweet fragrance? It might be a love-it-or-hate-it scent for some. Despite its rich texture, it doesn't feel overly greasy. It melts into the skin smoothly without sitting on top. I applied it to my neck and the back of my hands too, and it absorbs well. For my evening routine, I layered: B-plane BHA Ampoule Blanc Doux Hyaluronic Acid 5000 Toner Innisfree Natural Fermentation Essence Cellbien Hyaluronic Acid Papa Recipe Propolis Ampoule B-plane Cica Full Ampoule Ginger Honey Cream Cure Plus Cream My skin feels wonderfully hydrated!
ConsWhile the fragrance is pleasant, I generally prefer products without added fragrances or colorants, so that's a slight drawback for me.
TipI recommend gently patting a small amount into your skin with your palms for better absorption. Don't rush to apply the next product - give it a moment to sink in. Also, if you register at an Innisfree My Shop, you can get a 5000 won discount coupon. Find your nearest store, register, and visit to try the tester before making your decision.

After application and absorption, my skin feels firm and supple. The finish isn't matte, but it absorbs well and maintains moisture even when used alone. On busy days, I often just applied this before makeup.
ConsFor those with dry skin, you might need to layer it on for deep hydration. If you have oily and sensitive skin, be careful as it might cause small blemishes. It has a slightly rich feel, which could be the cause of these blemishes.
TipWhile I'm satisfied with the fragrance, it's quite strong and might not be for everyone. I recommend testing it first. It may not suit those with very sensitive skin. As someone with super sensitive skin, I usually need an adjustment period even with Innisfree products, but this one seemed fine until my skin became extra sensitive, causing blemishes. Interestingly, applying a thick layer at night, even on the lips, and washing it off thoroughly in the morning leaves the skin perfectly moisturized. However, avoid this method if you're prone to blemishes. This review is based on using the entire container.

ConsWhile it's thick, it doesn't seem to moisturize well. When applied, it feels like it's just sitting on top of the skin without absorbing properly.

It's a bit heavy, but doesn't feel greasy when applied. Instead, it gives a sensation of replenishing moisture. The ingredients are also good, so I'm using it well.
ConsThe texture is more like a nourishing cream. I'm okay with the scent, but some people might not like it.
TipI complete my skincare routine by applying essence, then emulsion, and finally this cream. Be careful though, if you layer eye cream or anything else on top, it can cause pilling.

Even at full price, it's not too expensive (23,000 won). The texture is slightly rich, but it absorbs well into the skin. The scent is quite pleasant too!
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it's just a basic moisturizer without any special functions. I wish it had anti-wrinkle properties at least. It's a very average product... And for those with dry skin, it might be a bit light for winter use. It's less rich than I expected. If you're looking for a truly hydrating cream from Innisfree, you might be better off with their Olive Cream instead.
