I couldn't settle on one product until I tried a sample of this for a few days. When I first opened it, the scent was really pleasant. I was worried the honey scent might be overpowering, but it was actually more of a subtle soap fragrance with just a hint of honey. It made applying the cream a delightful experience! Firstly, the hydration power seemed quite good. When I applied this cream during my morning skincare routine, my skin didn't feel dry throughout the day. On the flip side, it didn't feel heavy either (at least for my dry skin type)! I always prioritize the oil content when choosing a cream, and this product doesn't feel excessively oily. It's more like it adds just the right amount of moisture to the skin. The absorption was pretty decent too. It felt slightly thicker compared to other Innisfree creams, but even for someone like me who usually prefers gel creams or lighter formulas, it was still very usable. Oh, and what I loved most was that you don't need to apply a lot! When you put it on your skin, it spreads like a balm. It provides ample hydration too, which is great. If I can't find a better product, I might just stick with this cream.
ConsMy room is quite dry, and I don't have a humidifier, so it's really dry in here. When I apply this cream at night, my skin feels very parched in the morning. To give you a comparison, I use Innisfree Canola Honey Lip Sleeping Mask on my lips before bed, and while my lips stay moisturized, my skin feels dry! It's not extremely tight, but it's as dry as if I hadn't applied anything the night before. So, I don't think it's sufficient as a night cream. Even when I used a sheet mask before applying this cream at night, it didn't make much difference. Of course, the extreme dryness of my room might be part of the problem, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with a dry living environment.
