It's not heavy and cleanses well. This cleansing oil emulsifies nicely and is quite decent! It's relatively gentle, so I used it comfortably. As someone with oily skin, I recommend it for those with similar skin types! The cap makes it especially great for travel - highly recommended! There's no particular effect on blackhead removal. Just go for it if you're looking for something gentle or need a travel-friendly option. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2020
Gentle yet effective cleansing power. Removes makeup without irritating the skin. When you use a generous amount and massage it in, you can cleanse without any dry, tight feeling. Struggles with mascara... You need to rub your lashes with your fingers, which gets the product in your eyes. Unlike most cleansers that rinse off completely with water, this leaves your eyes feeling greasy, making you want to use eye makeup remover. While it seems to cleanse the skin well, it leaves behind a smooth residue, necessitating a double cleanse. I'm switching to an oil-to-foam cleanser because this is too much hassle. Pump twice when dispensing. I tried to be frugal by using just one pump, but it felt insufficient for a thorough cleanse. Oh, and the cap is a pain to open and close, so just toss it. You won't miss it, and it's actually more convenient without it. - mo*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 25, 2019
I grabbed this cleansing oil at Olive Young when I ran out, and it's surprisingly great! I've used Yves Rocher makeup remover and hair vinegar before, so I thought I'd try this brand's oil, and I'm impressed! First off, it's gentle with no skin irritation, and it removes even heavy makeup effectively. I've been using strong, sweat-proof products during the summer heatwave, but this removes everything without irritation in one go! It even completely removes multiple layers of waterproof mascara. Sometimes I use oil to remove eye makeup when I'm feeling lazy, and while some products can leave stains under the eyes, this one removes even dark mascara without leaving any residue. It's not too thick and rinses off quickly with water, which is great. Some oils are so thick that you have to emulsify and rinse for ages, but this one washes off easily without any slippery feeling. Above all, it's gentle on the skin, doesn't cause blemishes or dryness, yet has excellent cleansing power. It rinses well with water, and my skin feels clear afterwards. The performance is fantastic, and the price is reasonable too! The quantity is a bit small, but at 12,000 won it's not too expensive, especially with frequent sales at Olive Young. I've been using cleansing oils for over 5 years and usually try different ones each time, but this one stands out. There hasn't been an oil that I've particularly wanted to repurchase until now, but this one is so well-rounded and convenient that I might go back to it. If you're looking for a reliable cleansing oil, this could be your go-to. I can see myself picking it up again at Olive Young when I run out! There wasn't anything particularly bad, but the packaging is a bit flimsy. It's not a crucial point, but the cap is weak and loose, so I wouldn't feel comfortable taking it anywhere. I was planning to take it on a 4-day trip recently because it's small and light, but I changed my mind due to the packaging. Make sure to emulsify the oil and don't forget to follow up with soap or foam cleanser for your second cleanse. For emulsification, wet your hands slightly and massage thoroughly, thinking of it as drawing out sebum and impurities. - ad****Oily SkinMar 1, 2019
1. I just picked this up on a whim when I saw it on sale at Olive Young. 2. I think the price point is pretty reasonable. 3. It seems to cleanse properly, but since my exfoliating toner just ran out, I haven't been able to double-check with a toner pad yet. Bottom line: I can't confirm if it cleanses thoroughly, but it looks fine to the naked eye. 1. The scent is really off-putting. Honestly, if I could have smelled it before buying, I probably wouldn't have purchased it. As soon as I applied it to my face, I was like 'Ugh!' 2. I couldn't find any major benefits. 3. Oh, and I remember buying this because I saw a sticker at Olive Young saying it was ranked #1 on Hwahae, but not only is it not #1, I'm apparently the first person to review it... I'm not sure if I've been duped or if it's a different Yves Rocher product that's #1 on Hwahae, but either way, I'm not thrilled about it. Make sure to read the instructions on the back of the container carefully before use. That seems to be the real pro tip here...
