The skin around my eyes is sensitive, but this product is gentle and easily removes with cleansing water. Despite that, it doesn't lack staying power or smudge. While I'm not a fan of Japanese products, I can't find any other mascara that applies as smoothly as this one. It washes off easily with water, which means less irritation for my eyes. It's a shame it's made in Japan. I wish they would have sales more often.

The short brush applies the product cleanly without any clumping! The volume is good and it doesn't dry out, so it's hard to find any drawbacks. While I prefer a more natural look over thick, voluminous lashes, Clinique's Lash Power Mascara hits the sweet spot. It lengthens each lash beautifully with minimal clumping and hardly any excess. I even did a side-by-side comparison with another mascara, and the difference in under-eye smudging was night and day! After that test, I didn't even glance at other products. I usually snag the 3-pack deal at duty-free shops for a great value. This is truly one of the few holy grail products I'd wholeheartedly recommend! If you're after dramatic volume and fullness, this might leave you wanting a bit more. While it's not the cheapest option out there, it definitely outperforms other Clinique products known for their value when it comes to longevity and minimal excess. This mascara applies evenly and smoothly, which is great because mascaras can often clump or get messy if not applied well. Compared to other products, this one definitely lengthens my lashes, and it comes off super easily with cleansing water! I've been using this mascara for years - it's my holy grail product. It's lightweight and natural-looking while providing excellent staying power. I always make sure to stock up when it's on sale. The only downside is that the amount you get is a bit small for the price. It's both a pro and a con that it's water-soluble. I prefer it because I can remove it easily with just face wash, without needing a separate makeup remover. Holy grail mascara! It's incredibly easy to remove. The application is fantastic. It smudges when you cry. Better avoid it when watching sad movies, haha!
