  As I hit my 30s, I felt like my skin's elasticity was crumbling. I tried anti-wrinkle and firming products, but they didn't seem to absorb well. They might have even been too much, as I started getting blemishes I hadn't seen since puberty! My sister recommended this, and I gave it a try. When I apply it in the morning, I feel a plump, bouncy sensation rising from within that lasts until evening. I don't think there's a better cream for tackling deep dryness!

  The hydration and moisturizing effects are truly excellent, and it's great for soothing the skin! I bought it because it was marketed almost like a medicine, and it really does help calm down sensitive skin quickly when you're having an allergic-like reaction. It also gives your skin a nice, firm feeling!

  Cons

  However, personally, I wasn't too impressed with the texture or finish. It leaves a slightly sticky feeling, so I've been mixing it with a hydrating gel cream... For my combination dehydrated skin, that's just the right balance, but those with dry skin might find it works well on its own! Given that it's not exactly cheap, I'm not sure it's a must-repurchase for me...

  I've been mixing this with my moisturizer. It's great for boosting hydration in winter and gentle enough for atopic, dry skin. Ectoin is a new ingredient to me, but it feels different from hyaluronic acid. It seems to create a moisturizing barrier as it absorbs, really charging up the skin's hydration levels.

  When applied alone, it can feel a bit drying. The product's exterior keeps chipping away.

  It works wonderfully when mixed 1:1 with a hydrating cream!

  I'm currently using this product because it's said to be great for hydration and skin barrier, which is exactly what I need right now. My skin has become extremely sensitive due to sun allergies, folliculitis, and air conditioning. The absorption and moisturizing power are really good.

  Cons

  At first application, it feels nice and firm, but as time passes, it becomes excessively oily. I only use it at night, but when I lie down after applying, my face sticks to the pillow.
