But the toner really didn't agree with my skin, so I don't have much positive to say about it.
ConsI originally bought the soybean cream, and it came with a small toner sample. After a while, I tried the toner. For the past few days, my skin would burn intensely after washing my face and applying just the toner. I thought it might be due to wearing masks frequently, so I didn't think much of it. However, my sister asked me, 'What's wrong with your face?' I told her it was because of the mask, but then I realized that ever since I started using the new toner, my skin has been bumpy, itchy, and irritated. It doesn't look as bad in photos, but in person, my entire face is covered in bumps. Just because an ingredient list looks good doesn't mean it will work for everyone. When I used the soybean cream, I thought it was average, but this toner really doesn't agree with my skin at all.

During winter, when my skin gets really dry, I apply this toner after cleansing, layering it until I no longer feel any dryness. The difference in my skin is noticeable! While Torriden feels too light even after multiple layers, this one has a delightful bouncy texture that leaves a satisfying residual feeling on the skin.
ConsWhen applying, there's a slight tingling sensation, which I attribute to the ceramide content. It doesn't cause any blemishes or reactions, so I continue using it without concern.
TipAfter cleansing, I take my time to layer this toner 4-5 times, waiting for each layer to slightly dry before applying the next. Then I follow up with serum and moisturizer. The difference in hydration is remarkable. It's moisturizing, offers great value for money, and I plan to stick with this as my go-to product for fall and winter.

I usually prefer toners that provide intense hydration like a skin essence, rather than watery ones. I was looking for something that feels nourishing without needing to apply a separate essence or serum. These days, most toners seem to be very watery compared to traditional skin essences. I liked a popular Tonymoly skin essence on Hwahae for its texture and benefits, but had to stop using it due to an allergic reaction. That's when I discovered this soybean toner and decided to give it a try. 1. It deeply hydrates down to the inner layers 2. Absorbs well even with multiple layers, like a skin essence 3. Has a subtle soybean scent that should suit most people - it's so faint some might not even notice it 4. Watery texture but with a hint of viscosity 5. The color and packaging are so pretty I'm moderately likely to repurchase. It's the best option for me right now, but I might try something else if I find another good product!
ConsUpdate: I felt a slight irritation each time I used it, but ignored it thinking it was minor. However, when I applied it one morning when my skin wasn't in great condition, it immediately flared up. I'm not sure if it didn't mix well with the hyaluronic acid serum I've been using successfully for a while, but parts of my face became red, stinging, and flushed all over. I had to rinse it off with cold water right away. It's surprising since all the ingredients are supposed to be good. I won't be able to use it anymore and might have to give it to a friend. --- It has some natural oils in it. It's nice for a single layer application. If you apply about three layers, it leaves an emulsion-like oiliness all over your face. It feels a bit like a melted cream essence. You can definitely feel how it's nourishing the skin. I'm satisfied that it's not completely watery. This toner feels more rich than light.

ConsIt's really disappointing. I don't know if it's because I have extremely dry skin, but it stings so much when I apply it

In summer, my cheeks are dry while my forehead, nose, and chin get oily. I bought this along with the Soybean Nourishing Cream in winter and have been using it since. The Dokdo Toner is great as an exfoliating toner, but it felt a bit lacking for winter use... I decided I needed to focus more on moisturizing than hydration, so I purchased this. It's a water-like toner. The color is a transparent skin tone, if I had to describe it. Knowing it was a nourishing toner from the start, I felt it would be a waste to use it as an exfoliating toner, so I patted it onto my hands and applied it that way. It felt like my face was being filled with hydration, without any stickiness, giving a clean feeling after use. I really dislike sticky products, so I appreciated how it felt refreshing yet nourishing. Now I use it once as an exfoliating toner before makeup, then pat it on my hands for 1-2 layers before moving to the next step. It's perfect for layering without feeling heavy. Probably because it feels so refreshing? While it works fine as an exfoliating toner, I think it's even better for patting on with your hands.
ConsThe one really, really disappointing thing! Couldn't they change the packaging??? It's much better for patting on than as an exfoliating toner, but it drips down the bottle every time I try to pour some onto my hand. I ended up transferring it to a mist bottle to use. Also, I didn't notice at first, but recently when I apply it, my face feels a bit tingly... a slight stinging sensation. It doesn't last long though. I think it might be due to the sugarcane extract (for exfoliation).
TipFor those who dislike the dripping issue like me, I recommend transferring it to a different container! While it's good as an exfoliating toner, I highly recommend patting it on with your hands. (I haven't tried it, but I think it would also work well as a skin pack.) Don't just apply once, pat it on two or three times!

After using it, my skin texture becomes soft and smooth. It's perfect for summer use.
ConsThere's a slight tingling sensation. If I've cleansed too vigorously, it stings a bit more.
TipUsing a cotton pad to apply it really helps refine my skin texture. My skin used to feel saggy in summer, but this toner has been a great help. For best results, use this toner and then apply a vitamin sleeping pack before bed - it works wonders!

It was just okay. I guess the fact that I got it at a good price is a plus?
ConsThe birch hydrating toner I bought along with this seems to suit my skin better. When I use it with a cotton pad to wipe my face, it stings a bit.

It's a safe and comfortable choice for everyday use.
ConsWhen I'm tired or not feeling my best, it can sometimes cause a slight tingling sensation upon application.
TipFor less dryness, I recommend using a cotton pad to prep your skin, then applying a hydrating moisturizer before heading out.

Personally love the scent. Nice consistency.
ConsIt's good. The ingredients are great. But my skin is super sensitive. It was fine elsewhere, but my cheeks felt a tingling sensation, so I had to stop using it. Seems like something in it doesn't agree with me.
TipI found that using it as a toner pack reduced the amount of essence I needed to apply afterward, which was great.

I love that it's affordable and has great ingredients, so I can apply it without worry. I bought it because I heard the soybean extract provides nourishment to the skin.
ConsAs someone with dry skin, I wanted a toner packed with more nutrients for winter, but this felt a bit light for me. While I don't usually focus on fragrance, I wasn't a fan of this one either. Also, when I used this toner and cream before bed, my eyes felt irritated. It just didn't suit my super sensitive skin.
TipI think using it together with the cream from the same line would enhance its effectiveness.
