This is the first review I'm determined to write after logging into Hwahae in a while! This toner provides ample hydration even in winter. Using it with a soft cotton pad as a skin pack is sufficient for a mask-like effect. It doesn't feel particularly oily, and the large volume lasts a long time! For those with dry skin, it's not heavy even in summer, making it suitable for use all year round! It's so hydrating that you don't even need to layer multiple toners. It absorbs quickly, and there's barely any scent, so I think it's a flawless product. The ingredients are also great, so I doubt it would cause any blemishes. I believe this toner provides sufficient hydration for what a toner can do. In seasons when you might feel you need more, I think it's necessary to use an ampoule as the next step.
ConsThere's nothing disappointing about the product itself, but it's unfortunate that due to the popularity of Round Lab's Dokdo Toner, this one has been removed from Lalavla and isn't available at Olive Young, making it harder to purchase now. Hoping it doesn't get discontinued, I decided to write this review to help boost product sales a bit. It's such a shame that it's being overshadowed by the fame of the Dokdo Toner.
TipWhen used as a skin pack with soft cotton pads on the cheeks and forehead, you'll never experience makeup settling into dry patches. It's perfect for skin packing as it doesn't feel rich! Since discovering this product, I haven't felt any dryness at all. It even helps calm redness. Highly recommended for real!

When I saw them on sale on Hwahae, I bought this one for 9900 won and have been using it for a few months now. I have very sensitive, thin skin with redness, large pores, and a weak skin barrier. I've tried the Dokdo Toner, Soybean Toner, and Mugwort Toner, but the Mugwort Toner worked best for me in terms of soothing effects. The Soybean Toner has a rice water color as you can see, and is nearly fragrance-free. It has a runny consistency. I find it easier to apply using a cotton pad, gently pressing it onto the skin, rather than using my hands. I appreciate Round Lab's characteristically clean and no-frills packaging, and I think the ingredients are quite agreeable. It's really good value when you buy it on sale. I recommend getting it when it's occasionally discounted on Coupang or Hwahae.
ConsI felt that it doesn't absorb very well. There's a noticeable difference in how my skin looks and feels, both visually and to the touch, when I apply it hastily versus when I take my time to layer it thinly multiple times. This affects makeup application too. If I apply it carelessly, it tends to pill, so I try to take my time even when I'm in a hurry. I never experienced this issue when using Round Lab's Mugwort Toner...

It's perfectly hydrating with just the right amount of richness, striking a great balance. It provides excellent moisture while still absorbing well, and the scent is just perfect!
ConsHmm, while I can't think of any real downsides, I do wonder if it might cause some pilling with makeup in the summer.
TipI used the cream that came with it as a set, and it was amazing too! Absolutely fantastic!
