First off, I love how the container has a clean, dropper-style design. It's so convenient and less messy when applying. As someone who periodically deals with sudden acne breakouts and watches what I eat, I really prioritize keeping my face hydrated. That's why I chose this version. It definitely delivers on hydration, absorbs well into the skin, and doesn't feel heavy even after multiple applications. The scent reminds me of a strong eye drop smell I used to use. At first, it caught me off guard, but I got used to it over time. If you're sensitive to smells, you might not like it. Interestingly, my friend actually prefers it to other artificial fragrances! The serum doesn't feel super rich, so layering it with a more moisturizing cream on top might help maintain hydration even better! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 7, 2019
The texture is almost water-like with very little viscosity. Personally, I prefer serums with droppers, so I found this one convenient to use. The best feature of this product is how quickly it absorbs. It sinks in smoothly without feeling heavy or sticky, and it seems to give the skin a slightly firmer feel. It worked well for me without causing any blemishes. I layered it in this order: toner, this serum, then my usual firming cream and moisturizer. It doesn't provide much hydration, which seems intentional as it's focused on firming. It might not be suitable for those who rely solely on serum without using a separate moisturizer. The packaging isn't my cup of tea... It has a sticker rather than printed design, which makes it feel a bit cheap, yet it's not exactly budget-priced, so that's a bit odd. Also, if the scent was intentional, I think it would be better without it. The slight bluish tint was a bit off-putting too. I received this as part of The Hwahae Testers program. I'll likely use up the bottle without issues, but if you ask whether I'd spend my own money on it? It's a bit of a toss-up. It works even better if you apply it multiple times with intervals in between. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 29, 2018
My skin type is combination, and the texture of this product is much thinner and more watery than typical ampoules. It flows easily, and unlike other ampoules where the dropper can be hard to remove, this one comes out super smoothly - almost too smoothly, making me a bit nervous it might leak! The hydration is decent, and I didn't experience any blemishes. It seems particularly suitable for oily skin types, as it moisturizes without feeling heavy or clogging. The packaging is ridiculously oversized - you could fit 10 ampoules in there! The fragrance is overwhelmingly strong, which might be a concern for those with super sensitive skin. Even after application, the scent is quite potent. I'm currently using B-plane Cica ampoule, which is almost fragrance-free, so this one gives me a headache in comparison. In terms of texture, it's gel-like for a cream, so it doesn't provide much hydration. During harsh winter winds, it's almost like you didn't apply anything at all... It feels refreshing when stored in the refrigerator.
