T-zone is oily, with many milia-like acne U-zone is estimated to be summer oily/winter dry It's a watery ampoule formula. I bought it because it's said to help the skin barrier. The viscosity is slightly there, but when squeezed, it flows smoothly down my cheeks - definitely not just water. I thought the barrier ampoule would be a bit heavy, but no, no, no. The scent is similar to mint. It's not my preferred fragrance, but it's not off-putting either. When I apply it on my forehead, some acne tends to come up, so I've been using it only on my cheeks, and it's been fine there. The absorption is not super fast, but not slow either - somewhere in the middle. Using it twice a day, the amount makes it a bit slower too. One pump gives a clean finish, but I feel something's lacking, so I've been using 2 pumps on each cheek. This makes me feel the moisture is better replenished! If I had to nitpick, it leans more on the refreshing side, but it doesn't veer too much to either extreme, so it seems to faithfully fulfill the ampoule role. The feel: It was not oily and finished with a fluffy texture, so I could apply it without feeling burdened. Moisture: Since there was no oiliness, the moisture was slightly lacking, but I applied it twice and it felt moisturized. It may be slightly lacking for dry skin. *Moisture Improvement To be honest, for about the first week or even 10 days, I didn't really feel like my skin was getting more moisturized or improved from using this. But now, looking at my skin 2 weeks later, which is no longer extremely parched and cracked where even applying moisturizer didn't help, and I don't even need to do 3-7 skin layers - my skin can now comfortably absorb makeup without any issues. That's when I realized, ah, this must be the improvement in my moisture barrier. *Breakouts I'm not the type of person who usually breaks out a lot. Maybe one or two around my period, that's about it. But this past winter, my skin has been acting up in a really strange way. I can't say the serum made my breakouts disappear completely, but they did start to slowly calm down after I started using it, and I didn't experience any new major breakouts. ※Overall It's not an instant, dramatic improvement, but if you use it for over 2 weeks, you'll be able to experience a noticeable difference in your skin's moisture levels. If this is truly improving the moisture barrier, then I'd give it a strong recommendation. The product itself deserves at least 3 stars, but considering the price point and effectiveness, I'd give it 4 stars. For this level of functionality in a serum, I think it's a great value and I would recommend it.

I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and have been using this product for 2 weeks. Here is my review. I have naturally dry skin, so in the morning I use a water-based cleanse, followed by a hyaluronic acid toner, the Dewytree barrier serum, and the Dr.G barrier cream for dry skin. In the evenings, I do a 1st cleanse with cleansing oil, a 2nd cleanse with a mild pH cleansing gel, then use the hyaluronic acid toner and a face mask for maintenance. Even if I don't get enough sleep or have a little alcohol, I tend to get small bumps around the corners of my mouth and cheeks due to extreme dryness, though it's not cystic or inflammatory acne. My skin also gets quite red and sensitive after cleansing. Normally I'd give a product 50 points if it doesn't cause any breakouts, but this one starts off with 50 points! Other skin barrier products I've tried tend to clog my pores and cause whiteheads, even if they don't dry out my skin. But this one doesn't do that. I think it's because the formula is more lightweight and watery, not as heavy and occlusive. Looking at the ingredients, aside from the fragrance, there don't seem to be any obvious irritants or pore-clogging components. So for people like me who struggle with that film-forming issue, you can use this worry-free.

Cons

As mentioned earlier, the fragrance is quite strong! You can really smell it as soon as you open the product. To me, it has a floral scent. It's so good! It's moisturizing, and using this product alone before bed, you don't have to worry even in the winter. It seems like you don't need a separate lotion either! The scent is not bad either! I'm not good at using perfume and can't even go near people who spray it! But I had absolutely no burden with the scent :) The aqua scent? I hardly felt like it had a scent at all!! It has a slight minty scent, but it's fine once you apply it to your face! There's no way your face will get irritated or anything from the minty scent, it's just a slight fragrance. The product is good and the packaging is good too :) The amount seems just right. The best part is that it becomes moisturizing without any stickiness More than any other functionality, the lack of stickiness, the mild scent, and the moisturizing effect are the best! It's not an overly thick or gooey kind of moisturizing, but it provides just the right amount of moisture, like a baby's skin - it's the perfect product!

Yay, I'm a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, and I'll use it to the very end and write a review. Until a few years ago, I didn't even wash my face and just applied lotion, so I lack skincare knowledge, but please look kindly upon me. I have combination, sensitive skin that becomes oily in the summer and severely dry in the winter. I realized my skin problems way too late, boo hoo. 🍑The appearance is pretty It looks like a gem, with the top part beautifully sculpted. The color is a luxurious blue, and it's so pretty. The contents inside are also blue, no secret there. ★ But the most important thing in a skincare product is its performance. 🍑Quick and refreshing absorption The texture is closer to an essence than a serum. It's like a fast-acting moisturizer. When applied to the face, it absorbs immediately without any stickiness. I really dislike that sticky, tacky feeling on the face, and this product is the best. In the morning, when I apply a heavy cream before makeup, it often pills, but with this product, I can layer it a lot and then put on a soothing gel, and my skin stays dewy, and my makeup applies well. 🍑Disappearing dryness As a combination skin type, my face gets very tight in the winter, but when I use this serum, the inner dryness disappears. Wow, it's amazing. I actually used the INNISFREE Seed Serum before, but I didn't really feel a significant moisturizing effect, and the absorption was slow. But this product absorbs so quickly into the skin and deeply penetrates. 🤟 This is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer's review This is what I experienced after using it once a day in the evening for 2 weeks I used it after the 1-cleanse 3-skin method with the Tomoriminomochi toner, and I was surprised by the generous amount of the serum. Even though my skin gets extremely dry and lacking in oil in the winter, I had to use 2 full droppers on my face, and it still absorbed well. After absorption, the remaining serum on the surface of my skin kept my skin supple and moisturized. There was a slight tackiness, but since I applied a lot and then a thin layer of cream on top, it wasn't an issue at all. No tightness!!! The difference between the days I used it and didn't was very noticeable. In the morning, my skin wasn't dull and lifeless, but soft and dewy instead. Even with the generous amount I used, I didn't get a single blemish. 99.9999% chance I will repurchase (the 0.1% is the habit of a cosmetic nomad ㅋㅋ)
