Even with a small amount applied, the moisturizing effect was good. Since my skin is dry, it was a bit burdensome for me to use.

After using the toner, I often apply it right away, but it leaves a white, clumped-up feeling (though it's not actually clumped). It does absorb over time, but it's a bit inconvenient. I bought it after trying a sample and liking it, but the full-size product feels different. The sample had a very hydrating, plumping effect, but when I used the full-size, I didn't get that same feeling at all. (I used the sample 6 times - the store staff apologized and gave me a lot of samples since they didn't have it in stock at the store, and I bought it from Australia.)

Pros
First of all, I don't really like woody or earthy scents, but every time I apply this, it feels like a healing experience. Most importantly, the moisturizing properties (for my dry skin) work really well for me. And since I started using this, people have been telling me that my skin has been looking better. It seems like it's doing a great job of keeping my skin well-hydrated. My makeup also doesn't slip or slide off.

Pros
The texture is truly rich, and after being absorbed evenly, my skin feels completely nourished. It's not irritating at all, and the moisturizing power is excellent. For combination skin types, it's perfect to use in the transitional period between late fall and early winter. In the fall, I apply a hydrating cream during the day and then use the Aesop cream on my cheeks before bed. In the winter, it can be used on its own without any issues.
Cons
When applied by rubbing, it can leave a white cast, and it might be difficult to absorb it thoroughly if you're in a hurry or rushed.
Tip
As the Aesop staff member mentioned, since it melts with body heat, it's best to melt and absorb it. Gently patting it on and then finishing by firmly pressing it with the palms of your hands works really well.

Pros
It's fluffy but has unexpected moisturizing power. I really bought it just for the scent (I'm obsessed with Aesop) Looking at the ingredients alone, it seems like it would dry me out, but surprisingly, that's not the case.. I have extremely dry skin, so I don't really like the feeling of quickly evaporating products when I apply them, but surprisingly, even when I wear it at night and sleep in it, I don't get any millet grains or excessive tightness. In the morning, it's not too moisturizing, and it's a bit tricky to apply, so I think it's better to use it before bed.
Cons
This excessive fluffiness is a dislike for me, but I think it might be a like for oily-skinned people. The spreadability is not good, so it's definitely difficult to spread it evenly, and you have to take a little at a time and spread it slowly across your face.
Tip
If you rub it all off on your hands(?), it just gets absorbed into your hands and doesn't seem to have much effect.
