Pros
After applying the cream, it becomes moisturized and matte on the surface. I usually dislike creams that feel sticky or greasy, but this one is not at all greasy and is completely matte, which I really like.

True to its Aesop nature, the fragrance is truly lovely. The woody scent is immediately abundant upon opening the package, and the fragrance lingers even after application, giving a sense of being at a spa. The texture and color also give a feeling of abundant nourishment and great moisturization. Even with my sensitive skin, I did not experience any breakouts.
Cons
Perhaps due to my combination skin, the cream itself is quite heavy and oily, so I find it a bit burdensome to use regularly, except before bedtime. When I apply foundation over it, there is a slight slipping effect... So I tend to use it only as a night cream.

The one good thing I can point out is the pleasant aroma that is characteristic of Aesop... Other than that, not much.
Cons
When applying the base, even though I absorbed it enough and applied it, there's a feeling that it's not being absorbed and just sitting on the surface??? Maybe that's why my skin, while not completely dry, has become even drier since using this, and it feels very flaky and caked when applying makeup.... I paid a hefty price to buy it, and the toner and essence from Aesop worked well for me, so I bought this cream without hesitation...but I have absolutely no intention of repurchasing it.
