This one makes them less noticeable. I think it would create an even more natural and beautiful skin finish for those with already good skin.
ConsPersonally, when using this product alone, the makeup tends to break down and settle into pores.
TipI typically need to use a shade darker than my skin tone, but I dislike looking too pale. So I mix Warm Vanilla with a slightly brighter matte-finish base to achieve the right complexion. When I use this product alone, it tends to settle into pores and break down over time, so I find mixing it with other products helps it last longer. My routine is: after finishing skincare and lightly removing excess oil, I apply the foundation mixed with a base, then set it with powder. This method seems to make it last much longer.

Cool Vanilla made me look like a ghost. I won't repeat the mistake I made with VDL... Let's trust the expert's recommendation. - Purchased the recommended 2W0 = Satisfactory results
Cons- Transfers - VDL has slightly better longevity. When applied alone, VDL also seemed to hold up a bit better against breakdown - Extremely expensive
Tip- The staff informed me that compared to the original Double Wear, this has less coverage but is more hydrating. It's fine to use alone as I do now, but it might also work well mixed with VDL ※Personal review rating system※ 5★~4★ : Would repurchase 3★ : Would repurchase in specific situations (urgently needed + currently the best option) 2★ : Something doesn't suit me (e.g. complexion, scent, ingredients, etc.) 1★ : I'm not made of money

This product is completely different from Double Wear, which is from the same company. While its coverage might not be as intense as Double Wear, I'd like to applaud its natural coverage and ability to enhance your complexion. It also holds up well throughout the day. Plus, it didn't cause any blemishes.
ConsWhen it starts to break down, it can feel a bit clumpy due to excess oil. That's about it.
TipI recommend Double Wear for summer, and Futurist for spring, fall, and winter!

No heaviness. Moisturizes and naturally enhances skin texture for a flawless complexion
ConsFades a bit messily. Doesn't wear off gracefully, which is slightly disappointing. As expected from its hydrating and light formula, the staying power isn't great. However, this was anticipated, so it's not a major letdown

Overall, my skin type is slightly dry. Application: The foundation itself is incredibly moisturizing, so it applies smoothly and effortlessly. Skin appearance: The color is clear, making your overall complexion appear brighter. It creates a glowing, luminous finish.
ConsCoverage: As it's a hydrating foundation, you shouldn't expect high coverage. It's a bit greedy to want both moisture and full coverage in one product. Longevity and breakdown: Unfortunately, it doesn't last very long. Perhaps due to the oiliness in my T-zone, it starts breaking down around the nose area, leaving patchy spots. Packaging: The container seems to be made of heavy glass, making it difficult to carry around.
TipThe foundation is so hydrating and clear that your skin looks truly beautiful from the moment you apply it until it starts to break down. However, the short wear time and the way it deteriorates can be hard to manage. It works really well with a foundation brush!

I used to use the Double Wear line, but recently feeling the effects of aging, I decided to switch to a more moisturizing option and purchased this product. (My skin type is definitely dry... but I use such nourishing and rich skincare that even Double Wear applies smoothly.) I tested both Double Wear Nude and Futurist in-store, but personally found Futurist's color match better for my skin, so I decided to buy it. After using it at home for a few days, I was amazed - it's the best hydrating foundation I've ever tried. While it's marketed as a hydrating foundation, it doesn't give an overly dewy or wet look. It's more of a subtle inner glow with a slight sheen? The adherence to the skin is excellent, and I really love that subtle inner radiance. If you're a fan of that inner glow look, I highly recommend giving this foundation a try. Since it doesn't start off with an intense shine, even when it starts to break down, it doesn't look messy but naturally develops a luminous finish, which is another great point.
ConsThe longevity issue that seems to be the destiny of all hydrating foundations... even Estée Lauder couldn't completely overcome it. When using this foundation alone, in my experience, it stays beautiful for about 5 hours, after which the foundation starts to gradually break down.
TipThese days, I'm mixing Futurist and Double Wear in a 1:1.5 ratio for my base. It's like slightly reducing Double Wear's longevity while adding Futurist's inner glow. I can try this combination because I already own Double Wear, but if you find Futurist's longevity lacking, blending it with a matte foundation you already have could be a good way to create a custom mix that suits your skin. I'm currently obsessed with blending Futurist and Double Wear...

Used it in early winter and liked it so much I wanted to buy the full-size product, but it seems to be low in stock. It's a bit pricey, especially for a student like me. I switched from another brand's cushion because this one doesn't settle into smile lines. For reference, I usually use shade 21 warm tone, and while I'm not sure of my exact shade here, it shows that even warm-toned people can achieve a radiant look with this product, not just cool-toned folks.
ConsThe coverage is somewhat lacking, so I use it with a concealer. It might pill a little. Also, it may look dark when first applied, which can be disappointing, but I put up with it because it looks gorgeous as it settles in. (Actually, it gets more beautiful as it wears, making me want to buy it even more)
TipIn my experience, the skin looks more beautiful as the product settles, so don't judge it negatively right after application.

It pairs wonderfully with mineral sunscreens. The way it melts into the skin is absolutely gorgeous. I think Estée Lauder might just be my holy grail. If you have dry skin and want that ultra-dewy look, you've got to try this...
ConsWhile the way it melts into the skin is beautiful, it happens a bit too quickly. It applies thinly, but the coverage isn't particularly high. True to its department store foundation reputation, the price is quite steep.
TipTry mixing it with Double Wear... In winter, use a 1:2 ratio of Double Wear to Futurist. In summer, switch to 2:1 Double Wear to Futurist. It's absolutely amazing, for real...

It adheres well to the skin while feeling lightweight when applied. There's no caking, and it gives a nice glow that makes my complexion look healthy.
ConsI have rather sensitive skin, but this didn't cause any blemishes. The staying power isn't bad, and it doesn't break down messily. It's more like the makeup gradually fades away? It's easy to touch up cleanly, which is a plus, but it also feels like the foundation just disappears, which could be a drawback...?

Coverage: Although I'm not too fussy about coverage, I'm satisfied with just one pump. I apply it very thinly using a flat brush spritzed with mist. It doesn't completely cover areas with redness in one go, so I lightly layer a bit more on those spots. However, since I prefer a light base for summer, I usually avoid layering. The slight show-through of redness doesn't bother me much. Adherence: I typically pat the areas with visible texture using the flat part of the brush and finish with powder. The adherence is satisfactory. I imagine it would adhere even better if applied with a cushion or sponge. Application: Despite having oily skin, I prefer products that apply with a moisturizing feel, and this one does just that. It also beautifully enhances skin texture.
ConsThe biggest drawback is the price... Also, my face tends to get shiny quickly, so even with this product, excess oil is inevitable. However, after using it for a few weeks, I've noticed that it doesn't break down noticeably and maintains a beautiful skin finish. The chin area, which usually breaks down the fastest, occasionally shows slight caking, but not enough to require touch-ups. When my face gets shiny, I lightly blot with a tissue. In situations where I don't have a tissue handy, I lightly dust on some Make Up For Ever UHD Pressed Powder, and there's no noticeable caking.
