There's a noticeable difference compared to cheaper foundations - it really clings to your face. This made me realize why people swear by Estée Lauder. Even if it does break down slightly, it only lifts a bit around the nose area. Otherwise, it stays put beautifully. It gives your skin this gorgeous glow, making it look soft and luminous. But don't worry - it's not like you're dripping in oil. It's just the right amount of radiance, while the foundation remains firmly in place.
Cons1. Choosing the right shade is tricky. I'm usually a shade 22, and I bought Warm Vanilla. With Double Wear, Cool Vanilla looked too pale, so I went for Warm in Futurist. It's slightly dark on me - my neck looks a bit lighter, but it's not super noticeable. Still, shade selection is really challenging. For some reason, Estée Lauder foundations seem to have a slight reddish or brownish undertone. If you're aiming for a clear skin look, using this shade alone might be tough. Mixing it with another product could help. 2. Minimal coverage for pores and scars While other foundations might cover about 60% of pores and scars, this one feels like it only covers about 20%. So, I wouldn't recommend using this alone if you have significant scarring or large pores. I'm considering using Futurist along with a product specifically for covering scars and pores. (Any recommendations would be appreciated!) For those with nearly flawless skin, this foundation might be unbeatable.
TipRecommended for those without prominent pores or scars. Suitable for combination dehydrated skin in winter. Even with combination dehydrated skin, you might feel a slight tightness in winter, so make sure to have a solid skincare routine as a base.

It has a generous amount, feels gentle, and provides such great hydration that it gives my skin a beautiful glow.
ConsThe only slight downside is the darkening effect. You can notice a difference when touching up your makeup.
TipWith the need to wear masks these days due to COVID, it's great to use a setting spray on top of this.

After application, it gives a luminous glow that makes your skin look great. When applied thinly and patted with a puff, it makes my skin look genuinely good, which I'm very satisfied with. The shade is a natural tone, neither too light nor too dark. *It's slightly darker than the Korean shade 23. I currently use Chanel Ultra Le Teint in B20, Espoir Be Glow Honey/Be Silk Tan, and Estée Lauder Double Wear in Warm Vanilla. For YSL products, I typically use B30 - B40, and I prefer shades that are either half a tone lighter or match my natural complexion for a seamless look.
ConsThe orangey undertone is a bit disappointing. While the shade is a close match overall, the strong orange tint reduces its brightening effect.

It also gives a beautiful glow to the skin.
ConsThe coverage could be better, but that's easily fixed with a concealer, so it's not a big issue.

Since I have dry skin, the hydrating formula suited me well. The staying power wasn't bad either! And when it came off, it felt like it just disappeared, which was nice.
ConsThe color has a strong yellow undertone, and since we have to wear masks constantly, there's some transfer if you don't use powder. The coverage was also lower than I expected, so I personally ended up using concealer.
TipI found that applying a thin layer with a foundation brush and then gently pressing it in with a puff creates a beautiful skin finish! For areas where coverage is a bit lacking, lightly covering with concealer works even better.

This comes after developing an allergic reaction to the reformulated Lancôme Teint Miracle. I've tried countless foundations, even resorting to BB creams in desperation. The pros are simple: 1) It's hydrating 2) It offers medium coverage. That's it.
ConsThe cons are numerous: 1) Color: For warm undertones, it's yellow. For cool undertones, it's orange. It's far from flattering and can accentuate skin tone flaws. Those struggling with undertone dilemmas risk looking like a power yellow or orange beacon with the wrong shade choice. 2) Texture emphasis and heavy skin appearance: While it covers blemishes and imperfections well, it severely accentuates texture. I don't have particularly textured skin, just some slight unevenness between my eyebrows and eyes, but this foundation highlighted it like nothing I've ever used before. 3) Allergic reactions and skin irritation: This might be unique to me, but Estée Lauder foundations make my skin itch immediately as if I'm covered in fur. Within an hour, my skin turns red and develops blemishes. The itching was so intense I've had to wash it off before the hour was up. This happened with Double Wear and Double Wear Fresh Nude (a newer release) too. I'm still puzzled about which ingredient causes this and would greatly appreciate if anyone with similar experiences could comment. Final verdict: Keep searching for a different hydrating foundation!

I must have used at least 5 bottles by now. As I have a light warm complexion, using this alone can make my skin tone appear a bit dark, so I mix it with Double Wear or The Face Shop's Ink Lasting in a lighter shade. Even though it's pricey, mixing makes it last longer - I can use it daily for over 6 months. For a natural look, this alone gives a beautiful Inner Glow. For a brighter makeup, I use Futurist as a base and layer a thin coat of a lighter shade on top. It evens out my skin tone beautifully while looking very natural. Estée Lauder seems to excel in foundations overall. It pairs wonderfully with Double Wear. Futurist's subtle glow + Double Wear's lasting power = Perfect match
ConsThe only downside is that it's relatively expensive compared to other options.

It didn't feel thick when applied, and there was hardly any pilling.
ConsIt leaves marks when you touch or rub your face, and it comes off easily... But if you don't disturb it, it looks beautiful.

I've tried many, but this one minimizes the appearance of pores the most. It's moisturizing and gives a dewy glow - absolutely fantastic! With my dry skin tone of #23, I found this shade matches my neck color perfectly, creating a natural look. I'm not a fan of obvious makeup, so this is ideal. Note that it might be slightly darker than typical #23 shades, so testing in-store is a must! It also has minimal oxidation, making it perfect for daily wear!
ConsUnfortunately, the lid is quite fragile. I accidentally dropped it once, and the lid cracked - heartbreaking! The opening also gets dirty easily... I guess that's unavoidable, though.
TipAfter applying the foundation, it's essential to lightly dust with powder! This helps it adhere better and last longer.

Since it's the same tone as my skin, there's no risk of darkening. It works great with a flat brush! I use it with the Koosel No. 22 foundation brush, and it applies in a very thin layer that you can build up. Two layers seem just right - this gives decent coverage and a subtle glow. It doesn't clump in my pores, and it fades naturally throughout the day. The ingredients are good too, so I haven't experienced any blemishes while using it! As long as you cleanse thoroughly, you shouldn't have any skin issues.
ConsIt's a bit pricey, but you can get it much cheaper at duty-free shops! Personally, I believe you shouldn't skimp on foundation and should invest in a good product.
TipIf you apply it using the techniques from Gaeko's beauty class foundation episode, you can cover pores and achieve a flawless finish without brush marks!
