Pros
Unlike regular lip balms, this product can be applied to dry or cracked areas on the lips or around the eyes, which was very convenient. The effectiveness was also excellent. The portability is great too. Since there are multiple sizes available, you can purchase the one that suits you best.

Pros
This product would likely satisfy you if the reason for purchasing it is for skin soothing. Rather than using it for acne or trouble relief, this multi-balm is more suitable for use on insect bites or dry skin. It has a similar feel to the very familiar Vaseline, Papaw ointment, and Tiger balm. When applied to areas with dry skin, insect bites, bruises, or itchiness, it quickly soothes the skin. I personally used it only on my body, not my face. Even though I have oily skin, my body tends to be quite dry, and body lotion alone would sometimes leave my skin red, itchy, and flaky. But when I applied the Rescue Ointment, the itchiness immediately went away. Compared to using Papaw ointment, the Rescue Ointment seems to have less oil content, which I liked. It has a moderate oil content, so it doesn't feel greasy and absorbs well. When applied, it doesn't cause any stinging or irritation, unlike Tiger balm. It's truly a multi-balm that can be used anywhere on the body that's dry or has insect bites. As shown in the photo, when you first open the lid, it has a thick, waxy, candle-like solid form. I've been using this product for 3 years. Whenever I have skin troubles like insect bites, eczema, or inflammation, this is the product I turn to without fail. It has a soothing effect - you can feel it working right away, and by the time you wake up, the irritation has calmed down.
Cons
This is a night-time product, but it's made with solidified oil, so it can feel a bit greasy on oily skin types. As someone with oily skin myself, I only apply a small amount to problem areas.

I applied it generously to the baby. For example, right after mosquito bites, or I first apply moisturizer to dry areas and then this, so it seems to provide good hydration.
