It's great for using as a lip balm, body cream, hand cream, and even a little on your face skin - it works well for bruises, bug bites, and more.
ConsAww, I used that lip balm but the reviews say it caused liver damage :( It doesn't fully absorb the oil, so if you use a lot, the things you touch can get a bit greasy. I'm not sure if it's really hygienic.

I used it on a newly popped pimple, and while it wasn't 100% perfect the next day, it had improved by about 50%. I was really surprised by how effective it was, and I will definitely purchase this product again once I finish using it.
ConsSince it's an oil, it didn't absorb into my face right away after application, and it just felt like I had something sitting on top of my skin. The scent was a bit strange, kind of like a medicinal smell you'd find in a product for bug bites.
TipIf you just use this product on your acne-prone areas without any other toners or products, it's amazing the next day!

It has an oily texture. I've applied it on bruises and mosquito bites. Our whole family has been using about four tubes of it. When applied on mosquito bites, the itchiness goes away shortly and the swelling subsides, which is why we use it so much. Haha. Sometimes when I apply it on bruises, the green color stains the bruised area, making it look worse, but the staining and the bruise completely disappear after a few days and it no longer hurts. The scent seems to be a grassy or herbal smell.
ConsIt's green and doesn't absorb quickly, so it felt sticky whenever it touched my clothes, like before bedtime, after showering, or when I got bitten by mosquitos while sleeping. But it still quickly relieved the itchiness and calmed the inflammation, so I couldn't stop using it.
TipPlease apply generously on bruises or insect bites. Avoid excessive friction and reapply if it wipes off.

ConsIt doesn't absorb quickly, so it tends to rub off on clothes or bedding.

I have large pores and often experience breakouts. I used this product for exactly 2 weeks, and while it didn't have much effect on pore cleansing or tightening, when I apply it during breakouts, it helps soothe them by the next day. I also really feel that it's very nourishing - when I wake up in the morning, my face feels a bit puffy and taut, as if the product has deeply hydrated my skin. It's not because the cosmetic is not absorbing, but rather, if I apply a lot of eye cream, my eyes tend to get puffy the next day. It's really great for dryness as well. The amount seems small, but since the formula is waxy, a little goes a long way and it feels like I'm applying an oil film over my skin, so I can use it for a long time. After using it consistently for 2 weeks, I'm really liking it!
ConsI really like the scent - it's a herbal fragrance, but it's quite strong, so those who don't like strong scents may find it a bit headache-inducing. Also, you have to apply it evenly, because if you don't, your face can turn a greenish color... I even had some green stains on my clothes from it. Those with restless sleeping habits should be careful not to get it on their bedding. Since the formula is waxy, it doesn't absorb well as a morning base, and it may interfere with makeup application. I apply it at night, after my other creams - it helps lock in the moisture and prevent it from evaporating.
TipSince it's a waxy formula, if you warm it up a bit in your hands before applying it to your face, it absorbs much better. I also apply it regularly to my elbows and knees, and it makes them feel really soft and nourished!

In fact, I've been using this product for a while, and just as I was running out, I applied to be a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and got selected! ❤️ I first learned about it from my cousin, who said it's great for applying on a baby's bug bites or dry skin in the winter. Since it's made with 100% natural ingredients, it's good for babies too. 👉Usage I sometimes get sudden dry patches on my skin. When that happens, I apply it and by the next day, my skin is much calmer. And when I get blemishes!!! Like little bumps on my face, I apply the lotion, wipe that area, and then put on the Rescue Balm before bed. It doesn't completely disappear overnight, but after a couple of days, it quietly calms down. I also swipe it on my lips before bed. Compared to thicker lip balms, this applies thinly without feeling stuffy. Plus, the subtle floral, aromatic scent helps me relax as I sleep. 👉Fragrance The fragrance seems to be hit or miss - if you like herbal, lavender-like scents, you'll likely have no issues. I was a bit worried the menthol-y fragrance might come across as medicinal to others, but this product has a gentle aromatic scent that doesn't bother me. 👉Portability It comes in a sturdy, compact metal tin, making it very portable! I keep one at home and carry another in my pouch to use whenever I have bug bites, skin irritations, or dry lips.
ConsYou make a good point - the compact size that makes it portable also means it can be easy to misplace. And for those who dislike oily textures, the balm-like application might be a concern, as it has more of a layered feel rather than fully absorbing into the skin.
TipSince it's made with natural ingredients, having just one of these on hand means you can use it worry-free in various situations without major concerns. That's really nice!

Positives: 1. Moisturizing: It's good to apply on dry areas (my lips, arms, legs, and heels) during the summer. It has both moisture and oil, so it seems to be good for hydration.
Cons1. Fragrance: Weaker and colder scent than tiger balm. I can't precisely describe the fragrance, but it's not particularly fragrant or pleasant. 2. Oiliness: After applying it on my hands and feet, oily marks are left behind on the areas I touch and walk on. Since it has a lot of oil content, it doesn't get absorbed quickly into the body. If you dislike the sticky/greasy feeling, this is not recommended. 3. I'm not sure if it's good to apply on bruised areas as claimed.
TipIf you apply it on your heels and wear socks, the oiliness doesn't get transferred and it's great for moisturizing. But I personally don't think I'll buy it, even if it costs money....

As this is my first time being selected for the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program, I am excited to use the product for as long as possible and provide my honest feedback. 😍 It works great on bug bites. (Especially mosquito bites!) I tend to get bitten by mosquitoes a lot. While other people around me don't get bitten as much, I seem to be a prime target for mosquitoes. In the past, I would just wash the area with water and apply a medicated ointment, but that didn't really help with the itchiness. However, when I tried the Burt's Bees Res-Q Ointment, the itchiness went away completely!!! I can definitely feel the effectiveness of this product on bug bites. Now, whenever I get mosquito bites, this is the first thing I reach for. I might even buy another one once I finish this tube. 😍 It's also effective for redness. My sibling has relatively severe facial redness, and after using this product for a few days, the redness has significantly improved. It seems to be effective for redness as well. In the past, I used a cica cream that helped with redness, but it would sometimes feel a bit irritating. This time, I switched to a different cica cream, but it didn't seem to help with the redness. However, after using this product and going to sleep, the redness was brought under control. My sibling is also very satisfied with the results. +) It also has a soothing effect on the skin.
Cons😓 The scent is a bit disappointing. It has a somewhat 'grassy' (?) aroma, which I think might be divisive. 😓 The absorption is a bit slow. If the absorption was faster, it would have been better. Since the product is green in color, the slow absorption causes it to get on my clothes and other areas.ㅠㅠ 😥 I'm not sure if it's effective for acne. I applied it to the areas with acne, but I couldn't really tell if it was effective. The acne remained the same.

Great for applying on insect bites I went camping recently and got bitten by mosquitoes and some unknown bugs, but when I applied this product, the redness went away and the itchiness subsided. I've used it for various purposes, but it worked the best on insect bites. 2. Good for dry, cracked areas I sometimes get eczema-like redness and irritation on small areas due to dryness, but after applying this for two days, it almost completely went away. It absorbs a bit slowly compared to lip balms, but the moisturizing power is great, likely due to the high oil content, so I use it as a night care product. 3. Effective on irritated areas When my hands got irritated from cutting chili peppers, it calmed the burning sensation right away. This product seems to work well on any kind of irritated skin, like insect bites.
Cons1. Not effective on acne Even though it's said to be good for acne, it didn't have any effect on my painful, unpopped pimples. I didn't feel any soothing or calming effects. 2. Slow absorption Most products of this type tend to absorb slowly, and this one is no exception. But since it's for small areas, I can overlook this. 3. Cap is inconvenient Not a major downside, but a twist-open cap would have been better than the current one. After using the product, the cap gets slippery from the residue, making it harder to open next time. The convenience is slightly compromised, but I think the design fits the Burt's Bees identity, so I can accept this.
TipYou can think of this as an all-purpose ointment, like tiger balm or aloe cream. If you apply it to insect bites or irritated areas, the itchiness and heat will subside quickly, so it's a good one to have around in the summer.

It has a 'cure-all' feel like Tiger Balm ㅋㅋ You can use it for bruises, insect bites, and muscle aches ㅎㅎㅎ I'm not sure about the effectiveness, but it does seem to help faster ^^; Even though the amount is small, it lasts quite a while since I only use it on the affected area. It also doesn't feel uncomfortable to apply on a baby.
ConsIt absorbs slowly, so it gets all over other areas. And if you buy it individually, it's expensive.. But if you buy multiple, you can't use them all up; the price is a bit disappointing.
