While many use this for baby rashes and diaper rash, I don't have a baby and just bought it because the case was cute. I've been applying it occasionally on my hands, feet, elbows, bruises, and mosquito bites. Among the Badger Balm range, this one feels the softest and silkiest when applied. Its scent is also the most subtle, inoffensive, and least likely to cause aversion. When applied to hands, it's moisturizing and soft, spreading thinly without being bothersome. It turned out to be surprisingly excellent. The Badger Balms have cute packaging and great product effectiveness, but I wish they could do something about the scent... - yc******Dry SkinDec 20, 2023
It's less greasy than oil and applies nicely. The ingredients are gentle on the skin. It has a yellowish tint and is less convenient than a stick format. Whether for body or lips, I think using a pump product would be better. While I like lip balms, I wouldn't recommend this one. - st*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 28, 2023
With only 5 ingredients and a generous amount, I've been using this for over 6 months. It's rich, gentle, and deeply hydrating, making it perfect for both face and body without any worry. It's non-irritating, and the price is reasonable, which made it a pleasure to use. Apart from being difficult to find in physical stores, there's nothing to complain about. - sj*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 23, 2023
This is a gentle balm perfect for winter use. For a balm, it's not overly sticky and feels lightweight, so you can apply it anywhere. As long as you don't wash it off, the hydration lasts a long time - I found it really useful throughout the cold winter months. I mainly used it on my hands, and the generous 56g (2oz) size lasted me from October to February. I plan to keep using it regularly in the future. It's a solid balm that doesn't melt easily, which makes it inconvenient for use when you're out and about. It doesn't really solve deep dryness, so use it after applying an emulsion. For a clean application, you'll need a separate spatula. - me**********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 14, 2023
1. Helps with hydration. 2. Absorbs relatively well despite being an oil. 3. Has a natural scent. (It's a love-it-or-hate-it thing. I personally love it) When transitioning from summer to fall, my skin gets mysteriously itchy. I guess my skin senses the drop in humidity. So, except for summer, I apply it to my shins and outer arms. I use it as the final step after applying an emulsion or cream, and surprisingly, it absorbs well and has a soothing effect. Originally, I bought it for my kids' bruises and heat rash, but I find myself using it more for moisturizing. The kids don't mind applying it either, probably because the scent isn't too strong and the yellow color is pretty. Nothing really. I wish it came in a larger size, in a jar form with a twist-off lid. It would be even better if it included a spatula attached to the inside of the lid. It's great for areas that turn red when you scratch due to dryness. I also have the Badger After Sun Balm, but when I don't have it on hand, this works well too. It's effective on sun-exposed, irritated skin when applied after aloe gel or a soothing gel. By the way, using a spatula allows you to scoop out the product cleanly and easily. - c_*****Combination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 31, 2022
As someone with atopic skin that's always dry no matter what I use, Badger Baby Balm really keeps my skin hydrated. The inconvenience of having to use a spatula to scoop it out is a bit of a hassle! - 20**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 18, 2022
My hands, arms, and legs get incredibly dry - even in summer they're always parched, and in winter they crack and split. But when I apply this to my dry hands and other parched areas, it's like instant relief. The itching and stinging from cracked skin calms down right away. Before, I used hand cream on split skin, but it would sting. This doesn't sting at all! Highly, highly recommended! The scent is absolutely lovely. When I apply it to dry spots on my face before bed, there's this gentle fragrance that somehow feels so soothing. It's like it helps me relax. Isn't the packaging just adorable and pretty? It's totally my style. There are so many good points that I'm planning to stock up on a few. I honestly can't think of any real drawbacks. If I absolutely had to pick something... maybe that you need to scoop it out to use it? - go*************Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 4, 2021
Attention all contact dermatitis sufferers! Here's a golden tip for you: 1. Thanks to the calendula ingredient, it prevents contact dermatitis from worsening. While it doesn't completely eliminate the condition, it does stop it from getting worse. If you have super sensitive skin, apply this frequently for best results. 2. It has a nice, slightly rich texture. Gently roll it between your fingertips for about 5 seconds to warm it up, then pat it onto irritated areas. 3. No blemishes! I was worried that since it's an oil-based product, it might cause breakouts, but I was so wrong. It doesn't seem to contain any pore-clogging ingredients, so you can use it with peace of mind. Whatever you do, don't use this under a face mask! I applied it generously before putting on my mask, and it left yellowish, phlegm-like stains. Ugh! I'm only using it as part of my nighttime routine now. Also, if I use just this product at night, my skin feels dry. Since I have combination dehydrated skin, I definitely need to layer a moisturizer on top. It's bearable in summer though. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 30, 2021
My 6-year-old son had been struggling with unexplained pore issues, even visiting major hospitals until recently. We started applying Badger Balm generously to his face, especially on the blemish-prone areas, after washing daily. After using about half the container, all the redness and mysterious blemishes on his face completely disappeared! We still don't know the exact cause, but since applying the balm made them vanish, I'm just happy with the results. I feel anxious if we don't have it on hand now. There are no downsides. Phew! Without this, my son's face would turn into a mess, like a sea cucumber or sea squirt. While we're using it, his skin stays perfectly clear! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 28, 2021
Great value for money with a generous amount. It's free from harmful ingredients. Can't think of any downsides. The only minor inconvenience is having to scoop it out of the tin case, but that's common for most creams. I was recommended that famous cream popular among Bu*vi moms, but when I checked it on Hwahae, I was shocked to see it was full of harmful ingredients. I'm so happy that Badger doesn't have any of that stuff!
