  It's gentle on the skin. Despite being a gel, it's not sticky but applies smoothly and leaves skin feeling hydrated after rinsing. There's no sensation of dryness or tightness. The scent, to me, is reminiscent of ginseng found in herbal cosmetics, but it's subtle and pleasant. I recommend it for morning cleansing or as a second cleanser to remove light makeup in this makeup-free era.

  Personally, I prefer cleansers that produce rich lather, and although I have dry skin, I like that squeaky-clean feeling after washing. This product doesn't foam at all. Its hydrating quality is a plus, so I plan to use it occasionally during seasonal changes or in winter, rather than right now.

  I started with a small sample gift, loved it, and now I'm hooked on the full-size version. The fragrance is my absolute favorite, and it doesn't lather much, which makes me feel it's gentle on my skin.

  Cons

  I thought it would be mild since it doesn't contain harsh surfactants, but looking at the caution ingredients, I'm disappointed. As someone struggling with severe contact dermatitis, it's frustrating to have an allergic reaction. To top it off, it doesn't even lather well.

  This gel-type cleanser effectively removes makeup without irritation. At first, you might feel it's not cleansing well due to the lack of foam, but when you check the mirror after washing, you'll find it cleans much better than other foaming cleansers. As someone with combination skin prone to occasional blemishes, I've noticed significantly fewer breakouts since using this product. I started with the smaller size, but it worked so well that I've upgraded to the larger bottle.

  Even though I have super sensitive skin, this product is so gentle that I've gone through two bottles. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight after cleansing, making it a decent option for those with dry skin.

  Cons

  The downside of the pump dispenser is that after prolonged use, the gel can harden and clog the opening.

  I started using this product on recommendation from my esthetician. It's been about two years now. It's gentle and hydrating for my sensitive skin (works well even for my combination dehydrated skin). I also love its healthy scent!

  Cons

  Unlike what other reviewers mentioned, it doesn't lather dramatically. If you prefer that squeaky-clean feeling after washing, this might not be your favorite.
