It brightens my complexion! When applied with water, it goes on thinly. Even after sleeping with it on, my skin feels refreshed until morning. It's expensive... I think it might be discontinued as I can't find it in department stores anymore. - zo******Normal SkinRecommendedFeb 3, 2021
A sunscreen that excels in every aspect - smooth application, quick absorption, and even complexion correction. Its rapid absorption makes it particularly suitable for men with facial hair. The price is disappointing considering the amount you get. The cost, the cost, the cost! It's such a letdown. The price is truly a bummer. - da******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 16, 2020
Conveniently portable due to its small size. High SPF protection. Absorbs well. Suitable for both dry and oily skin types. Despite being called a brightening moisturizer, it doesn't actually brighten the complexion (I usually use shade 21). It seems to brighten slightly at first, but later it just feels like I've applied regular sunscreen. I think it's a decent product for use under a face mask. Applying this followed by Double Wear powder gives a clean finish. - je*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJun 7, 2020
It definitely brightens your complexion (though this could be a drawback for some) Please... don't buy this... especially if you have oily skin. I broke out with acne all over just one day after using this. It's also very irritating to the skin. The white cast is a huge drawback! It doesn't just brighten your skin, it makes you look ghostly pale... If you're going to use it, be very careful with the amount you apply - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 31, 2019
First off, it doesn't cause any eye irritation, which is a sensitive issue for me. I absolutely can't use products that sting my eyes - they make my eyes crusty, constantly irritated, bloodshot, and ruin my whole day. I'd rather use a mineral sunscreen that whitens my skin a bit than deal with eye irritation. Plus, this one is hydrating. Unlike other mineral sunscreens that can be drying, this one keeps my skin moisturized. While it's marketed as a brightening moisturizer, it doesn't provide a natural-looking glow. Instead, it's just like those white mineral sunscreens that leave a pale cast on your skin. It also applies unevenly, emphasizes pores, and settles into fine lines - it's a mess. You can't use this alone; you need to apply it under cushion foundation. Even then, as your makeup breaks down throughout the day, the flaws of this sunscreen become more noticeable. I wouldn't recommend it for summer or winter. It's absolutely not suitable to use on its own - after all, who doesn't have some pores or fine lines? You'll need to apply cushion foundation or other makeup over this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 23, 2019
Kiehl's is still the only sunscreen I've found that doesn't sting at all, even if it gets in your eyes After using the basic product, I tried the brightening moisturizer line for the first time, but the white cast is so severe that I can't apply it generously - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 23, 2019
1. Convenient travel size:) At 30ml, it's quite compact. Perfect size to carry in your purse! 2. Noticeable brightening effect:) I thought it would have a purple tint since the container has a lavender line, but it's actually a light lemon hue. While it gives a slight white cast like effect, it definitely evens skin tone, and the brightening effect lasts long! I only applied this product after my skincare routine before going out, and my complexion still looked radiant even after 5 hours. 1. Pilling:( It pills less if you use a small amount, but if you use the recommended amount, it pills severely like dead skin. To be honest, it pills even with a small amount. 2. Small quantity:( For a sunscreen that's used daily, the amount is too little. It's not particularly cheap either, so it's not great value for money. 3. White cast:( I personally don't mind whether there's a white cast or not as long as it brightens my complexion, but this isn't a natural-looking tone-up. It's closer to a white cast effect, so I think more people might dislike it. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 30, 2019
The brightening moisturizer works so well that as a student, this is all I need for my complexion It can get a bit greasy in summer, so I have to use powder, but in fall and winter that's not necessary - xx******Oily SkinAcne SkinSep 1, 2019
The only positive is that despite ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate being high up in the ingredient list, it didn't cause any eye irritation. No matter how much you rub it in, there's an intense white cast that just won't go away. You might reduce the white cast slightly by applying tiny amounts, but it's impossible to use the recommended amount for proper sun protection. Even if you apply a small amount, spread it for ages with your hands, and then pat it with a sponge, the white cast is still extremely noticeable. While it doesn't pill when you apply makeup over it, as time passes, an excessive amount of oil comes through, leaving your skin looking greasy and shiny. I'm not a fan of brightening moisturizers to begin with, but this one is truly disappointing. Even if you typically enjoy brightening products, I'd recommend choosing something else. This doesn't give you a radiant complexion - it just makes you look pale. - ye*******Combination SkinAcne SkinJul 28, 2019
The brightening moisturizer definitely works its magic! It doesn't pill even after applying makeup. The brightening effect is so intense that I can only use a tiny amount. It seems a bit too much to use as a sunscreen.
