  Pros

  First off, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous. The scent initially has a peppery note, but that quickly fades into a floral fragrance. This perfume is famous for its 'skin scent' quality, and I bought it after trying it out and finding it quite nice. To me, it smells like a slightly tart floral scent. (This makes me keep sniffing to figure out if it's floral or sweat-like - it's quite addictive!) Oh, and if you spray this after a shower and then sniff the spot, you can really smell the perfume. The lasting power is truly impressive!

  Cons

  For me, this scent can smell both floral and like body odor after sweating. (Apparently, this can cause headaches for some people.) Since some people might perceive it as body odor like I do, I'd strongly recommend testing the dry-down if possible! I was interested in Diptyque fragrances and found out that they can discolor if stored for too long (what a bummer). Also, a downside of niche fragrances like Diptyque is their high price point. If you can get past that, you'll be able to enjoy this perfume.

  Tip

  When applying perfume, don't spray it on your wrist and then rub! This can crush the fragrance particles and slightly alter the scent. For storage, keep it away from direct sunlight in a cool place! Carrying the full bottle around can decrease the fragrance's stability due to shaking, so it's better to decant some into a smaller bottle if you need to take it with you!

  Pros

  Subtle fragrance that's truly delightful! The initial scent might be a bit spicy, which could be hit or miss for some, but give it a moment and that spiciness fades, leaving behind a really lovely lingering aroma. It's a slightly unisex scent, but you could say it has a hint of floral notes layered in there. (I'm really struggling to describe scents accurately...!) Anyway, it's absolutely wonderful! Even with just a few spritzes, the fragrance lasts well (though it stays subtle, not overpowering). For even longer-lasting scent, pair it with the matching Fleur de Peau hand cream from the same line! Interestingly, while the hand cream shares the same name, I noticed its scent is ever so slightly different.

  Cons

  The price... it's a bit wicked, isn't it? It's quite expensive, I'm afraid. Other than that, I can't really think of any downsides!

  Tip

  They say if you spray it on your wrist, don't rub it in - just let it be. Apparently, this helps the fragrance last longer!

  Pros

  At first, it opens with a blend of pepper, floral, and intense musk notes. Gradually, the pepper fades, leaving behind a harmonious woody, floral, and musk scent. My skin tends to embrace musk fragrances well, so I absolutely adored this.

  Cons

  There's not really anything to complain about. If I had to nitpick, it might be challenging to wear in summer. While it's not unsuitable, there's a certain heaviness to it when applied during warmer months.

  Tip

  Personally, I found that applying it to the chest area rather than the wrists made the fragrance last longer. As this was my introduction to fine fragrances, I wasn't aware, but apparently some Diptyque perfumes can have faulty spray nozzles. If you notice liquid leaking with each spray, I'd recommend exchanging it. I've been too lazy to bother, but it's worth noting for those who are particular about such things.

  Pros

  This is my signature scent for life! I'm not usually a fan of floral fragrances, but this one strikes the perfect balance between floral and powdery notes. The floral scent is subtle and never overwhelming. What's more, Diptyque fragrances truly have impressive staying power! (Mine is in the black bottle, but I'm leaving this review on the clear one since that's what's available.)

  Cons

  There's absolutely nothing to dislike about this! However, if you're not fond of powdery scents, you might not be as enthusiastic about it.

  Tip

  I adore it so much that I spritz it on my bed before going to sleep.

  I sampled this at duty-free and bought it after falling in love with the scent. It's an incredibly popular fragrance that was often sold out and hard to get. It's like a floral scent that mimics skin smell? It's sophisticated and distinctly feminine, unlike anything you'd typically encounter. I've even received compliments on my perfume taste.

  Cons

  I suppose you'd have to go to a duty-free shop to buy it, mainly because of the price... I'm using it sparingly.

  I'm using it year-round, regardless of the season.
