  I received this as a birthday gift from my boyfriend and gave it a try. As someone who loves soapy and musky scents, I'm absolutely thrilled! At first, there's a slight peppery note that feels a bit sharp, but once that dissipates, the lingering fragrance is truly exquisite, folks. It's the real deal!

  Cons

  The price is a bit steep, I must admit. However, you can find it somewhat cheaper on international shopping sites or apps! (I bought mine from J*). Also, I'm not sure if it's just my bottle, but it seems to leak a little from the cap area, unfortunately.

  It didn't live up to my expectations. It's just a very common and ordinary scent, like a faint baby powder smell from a generic facial tissue.

  I can't understand why the initial scent is so peppery. While the lingering scent is truly wonderful, I was shocked when I first sprayed it. I felt like I'd stuck my nose in a spice jar! Although it dissipates quickly, that pepper scent keeps haunting my nose, making me reluctant to use it despite the pleasant base notes. This perfume really drives home how crucial the top notes are - they're your first impression, after all. If I had made a blind purchase, it could have been disastrous.   Pros

  This is my signature scent for life! I'm not usually a fan of floral fragrances, but this one strikes the perfect balance between floral and powdery notes. The floral scent is subtle and never overwhelming. What's more, Diptyque fragrances truly have impressive staying power! (Mine is in the black bottle, but I'm leaving this review on the clear one since that's what's available.)

  There's absolutely nothing to dislike about this! However, if you're not fond of powdery scents, you might not be as enthusiastic about it.

  I adore it so much that I spritz it on my bed before going to sleep.

  While it's classified as a women's fragrance, it feels more like a unisex scent with an androgynous sophistication. The description mentions it evokes a natural indoor ambiance, but I wouldn't say it's exactly a natural scent. The name 'Fleur de Peau' means 'flower of the skin', and it's a powdery blend of musk and iris. The main ingredients are iris, pink berries, and ambrette seeds (hibiscus). To me, it's less like baby powder and more like musk transformed into a powder scent.

  The biggest advantage of this fragrance is its excellent sillage. It really shines in its lingering scent. When first applied, it can be a bit overwhelming, almost like heavy makeup. That's why I never apply it directly to my skin, just one pump on clothes. Even so, the scent remains strong for a long time. The ingredients list is shocking... I understand the price reflects the brand value, but couldn't they have made it a bit gentler?
