As someone who's been using Holika Holika since my student days, I can say their foundations and cushions are wonderfully hydrating! The way it wears off is even pretty, and when I go out wearing this, people often tell me my skin looks great. My complexion is on the lighter side, so most drugstore brands tend to look yellow or darken significantly, but this product doesn't do that at all! It's absolutely fantastic.

I have three brownish acne scars, so I applied concealer before the foundation.
Then I used a damp beauty sponge to apply the foundation, and the result was satisfying!

- Scent:
What is this fragrance....it's so artificial.....The scent gives me a headache for about two hours after application. I thought it was just me, but I found other reviews mentioning the artificial scent..
I even checked the manufacturing date, wondering if it was old^+^...

- Color:
Holika Holika is a color sensation in my book!
It nails that perfect ivory shade without any reddish or yellowish undertones.

- Skin finish:
While it's not exactly 'glowy' as the name suggests,
it gives a beautiful, soft matte finish.

- Oxidation:
As someone who needs makeup to last at least 9 hours a day, oxidation is my top concern!
This product didn't oxidize at all until I got home - 
I'm absolutely thrilled!

While it doesn't have the full coverage or dewy glow of some foundations, it's a versatile option for mixing with other bases. For touch-ups, use a sponge to press and blend outwards for a natural skin finish.

They really didn't need to add artificial fragrance... sigh. But I'm satisfied since I bought it to mix with other foundations.

I found the perfect match while searching for a moisturizing companion to pair with Double Wear, which can be drying and lacks color variety. 
*Color: For me (shade 17), it's a natural, versatile, and pretty color. 
*Application: While not quite a glowy foundation feel, it has a BB cream-like moistness when applying.

As of October 19, I've switched back to BB cream. Due to the nature of foundation as a category, it breaks down more than BB cream, which is hard for me to manage with my troubled skin. Still, I acknowledge that among existing foundations, this one has good ingredients, is gentle, and is a quality product. I hope it becomes more popular.

As natural as it looks, the coverage is a bit light. It only lightly conceals redness. You can build it up for more coverage, but I prefer a more natural look that lets some imperfections show through.

Even with my dermatitis, this gentle formula doesn't cause any blemishes.

After using it for several days: It's the best foundation I've ever used. The application is superb, and it doesn't pill at all when applied over a base. The color is beautiful and blends naturally even on darker complexions without floating. It creates a dewy skin look, which is perfect for summer.

Mixing experiments:
Alone: Looks best on its own
With brightening moisturizer: Slightly patchy... not great. Breaks down messily, not recommended
With BB cream: Natural-looking and good

For areas that need more coverage, I pat on a high-coverage cushion foundation.

To be honest, it doesn't feel hydrating at all when applied all over... I used to use Guerlain foundation, which was hydrating but too dark for me, so I wasn't fully satisfied. This product has a nice color, but it feels dry after application. I think it's because I prefer a dewy, glowy look. I wanted a hydrated skin look, but this finishes quite matte. Of course, after a while, the oily parts of my face did get a bit shiny. I'll need to use it more before deciding on repurchasing.

I saw someone using this on Instagram Live and immediately bought it without hesitation. As summer's approaching, my skin's getting dry but also oily in spots, so I purchased this to use alongside my summer cushion foundation. My skin's a total mess - extremely dry overall, but with excess oil in the T-zone. My chin gets super dry with dead skin cells, yet also oily. My nose creases easily, and my smile lines appear with the slightest dryness... It's chaos! So I wanted to use two different products for hydration and mattifying. I bought this one for the hydration part. First off, the color is great. Interestingly, unlike most foundations where you're supposed to apply thin layers, this one looks much better when you apply a generous amount at once. At first, I thought it might be too much, but when you blend it out, it adheres beautifully to the skin. On the contrary, applying thin layers multiple times made it look patchy and uneven. When applied generously and blended out, it gives a beautiful porcelain-like finish.

If you use a hydrating base beforehand or mix it in, you can get a more moisturized application.

Since it's called 'Glow', those with dry skin who prefer a more luminous complexion may find it a bit lacking.

I was surprised to find no reviews;; My combination skin has redness and periodic breakouts. Although it's a glow foundation, it doesn't look overly shiny! It applies smoothly at first, without emphasizing any flakiness, and leaves a dewy finish. But once it sets, it becomes semi-matte and has pretty good longevity.
