  Pros

  I saw someone using this on Instagram Live and immediately bought it without hesitation. As summer's approaching, my skin's getting dry but also oily in spots, so I purchased this to use alongside my summer cushion foundation. My skin's a total mess - extremely dry overall, but with excess oil in the T-zone. My chin gets super dry with dead skin cells, yet also oily. My nose creases easily, and my smile lines appear with the slightest dryness... It's chaos! So I wanted to use two different products for hydration and mattifying. I bought this one for the hydration part. First off, the color is great. Interestingly, unlike most foundations where you're supposed to apply thin layers, this one looks much better when you apply a generous amount at once. At first, I thought it might be too much, but when you blend it out, it adheres beautifully to the skin. On the contrary, applying thin layers multiple times made it look patchy and uneven. When applied generously and blended out, it gives a beautiful porcelain-like finish.

  Cons

  To be honest, it doesn't feel hydrating at all when applied all over... I used to use Guerlain foundation, which was hydrating but too dark for me, so I wasn't fully satisfied. This product has a nice color, but it feels dry after application. I think it's because I prefer a dewy, glowy look. I wanted a hydrated skin look, but this finishes quite matte. Of course, after a while, the oily parts of my face did get a bit shiny. I'll need to use it more before deciding on repurchasing.

  Tip

  For areas that need more coverage, I pat on a high-coverage cushion foundation.
