The ingredients are gentle and the price is reasonable.
ConsIf you use a bit too much, there's a burning sensation. Rather than being truly beneficial for the skin, it gives a damp feeling that makes you think it's hydrating. It might be better not to use it if the environment isn't humid.
TipDue to its high water content, it's quite thin with weak hydration and poor lasting power. I plan to mix it with other products and use it in winter. It can be used to make use of emulsions with weak hydration that you don't usually reach for.

When I used to apply only Sidmool Tea Tree Gel, my skin would become extremely dry afterwards. But mixing just a drop of this glycerin makes it incredibly hydrating. To be precise, it makes your face feel a bit tacky, but I love how my skin stays moisturized until the next day.
ConsThere's really nothing bad to say, but if I had to nitpick, it's that the hydration doesn't leave your skin feeling powdery soft, but rather slightly sticky.
TipTry adding a drop to your emulsion or cream, or even to your hair mask.

But now I mix this with Illiyoon in a 7:3 ratio when applying. It doesn't cause any itching and keeps my skin moisturized.
ConsIf you exceed even a tiny amount, it immediately becomes sticky or uncomfortable. I wish they would make the recommended dosage a bit smaller.
TipFor a moisturizing way to remove dead skin cells, try spraying some mist and then adding 3 drops of glycerin on top. Gently wipe with a cotton pad.

It's been a game-changer for my extremely dry skin! Those stubborn dead skin cells and deep dryness that wouldn't budge? This combo has really helped alleviate those issues.
ConsThis isn't really a complaint about the product itself, but a word of caution: if you accidentally mix in too much glycerin, you'll end up with an incredibly sticky texture and a burning sensation on your skin.
TipI'm currently using it mixed with Now Foods rose oil/toner, and if I have any leftover, I apply it to my body as well.

For sensitive skin prone to dryness and flaking, it's better to focus on internal moisture rather than just relying on oils for long-term improvement. I used to depend on oils year-round except summer due to constant body dryness, but last winter, mixing glycerin with emulsions significantly improved my extreme dryness. While it'd be great to find a moisturizer with perfect oil-water balance, our skin changes daily. I used it well all winter, and now in summer, I mix it with emulsions when I feel a bit dry. Unlike oils that can leave residue, glycerin doesn't, which I love. It's perfect for adding a moisture boost to products without the heaviness of oils. As someone prone to blemishes from layering products, I find this adaptable approach to hydration based on my skin's daily needs very useful.
ConsStrangely, while my skin absorbs oils well, it struggles with humectants like glycerin or high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. So when I tried the popular '3-skin' or '7-skin' methods, the excess humectants led to flushing, redness, stickiness, and even clogged pores. But using less meant insufficient hydration. While it's less noticeable on my very dry body skin, my facial skin quickly shows if I use too much or too little, which is frustrating.
TipCannot be used alone! If you rub pure glycerin between your hands, you'll feel it heating up. That's normal. Plus, it's incredibly sticky. Imagine applying that directly to your skin... the result is predictable. Moreover, since glycerin attracts moisture, using it on skin lacking water can lead to deep dryness. Always apply it to damp skin. It works best when mixed in small amounts (a drop or two) with products that you feel need a bit more hydration but where adding oil feels too heavy.

The conclusion is that it's really good. After washing my face and toning, I applied a tiny, tiny amount of glycerin and a tiny, tiny amount of cream. And the dryness completely disappeared. I don't know why moisturizing creams are so expensive. Glycerin is incredibly cheap, moisturizes well, and I don't need to buy an expensive cream anymore!! And when I do this skincare routine and then do my makeup, the foundation just glides on so smoothly. It feels great. Also, after washing my hair and towel-drying it, I apply it instead of an essence. And while it's still damp, I apply some jojoba oil to condition it. I haven't been using hair essence because when I apply it, my hair gets sticky and oily. But I'm not sure if I see immediate changes in my hair like I do with my skin. My hair didn't have major issues before. I'll make adjustments by comparing it to when I don't use glycerin.
ConsWhen I apply it to my dry hair, it feels a bit stiff. Applying just the glycerin to my face does improve the dryness a lot, but it feels like anything could stick to my skin. It's not sticky or anything, but it feels like dust in the air could just cling to it. But it doesn't feel like my hair will stick to it or anything!
TipI'll mix witch hazel toner and glycerin in a 4:1 ratio to make a mist. And they say glycerin is a humectant, so it's best to use it when your face has some moisture. So after cleansing, I'll spray my homemade mist and then apply the glycerin. It's just so moisturizing... Then I'll follow up with a small amount of jojoba oil or cream. Otherwise, it feels like dust could just cling to my face. I'll make a rose water + glycerin + essential oil mist and bring back the review.
