It truly lives up to its name, making you look radiant and sun-kissed! The brightness is stunning. The only downside was the signature stickiness of Black Rouge, but otherwise, no complaints! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 17, 2021
This shade is perfect for spring warm tones. Whoever named this deserves a round of applause! It's exactly like sun-kissed apricot!! A beautiful coral with hints of orange and just the right touch of red. I absolutely adore the color. The pigmentation is incredibly impressive - one swipe and it spreads evenly with full coverage!! The staying power was also quite good. The only downside is that it tends to emphasize dead skin cells a bit? For a velvet tint, it seemed to highlight flaky skin more than expected. - gy********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinNov 24, 2020
I have a yellow undertone but my skin looks reddish due to rosacea. I'm not sure if I have a deep undertone or warm undertone, so I just use colors that look pretty or seem to suit me at the time. 1) The application is smooth. Even though it's a velvet tint, the texture is soft, making it glide on more smoothly compared to other velvet tints. 2) It's great for light skin tones with deep undertones, especially those who can pull off fluorescent hues. I bought it thinking it would be an orange-coral with a hint of red, but unless applied thickly, it gives more of a pink-coral vibe with a slight fluorescent tinge. (Personally, I despise pink-coral and fluorescent shades. However, my color choice mishap isn't a flaw of the product itself...) 1) It's not really a velvet tint. I've tried many velvet tints, but this one feels the least 'velvety' of them all. While the smooth application can be a plus, velvet tints should have a bit of thickness to bring out that texture. The finish isn't particularly matte either. 2) The adherence and longevity are disappointing. Not all velvet tints have great staying power, but this one doesn't adhere well to the lips. It feels like it's sitting on top of the skin for a long time, which also affects its longevity. Surprisingly, it barely stains the lips at all. 3) The logo on the tint container rubs off easily. I don't usually care much about packaging design unless it's really odd, but the logo rubbing off gives it a slight cheap, drugstore tint vibe. The brown spots you see in the photo are mascara, not dust. - b0***Combination SkinAcne SkinOct 7, 2020
I was hesitant to buy it because of all the orange-like shades, but I ended up getting it since it was on sale. The color itself is a bit dull. After buying it and using it once or twice, it became a forgotten item in my drawer... - wn*********Combination SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedJul 10, 2020
Color is gorgeous! It's my absolute favorite shade. I love bright vibes, and this gives such a lively feel. Absorbs beautifully. My lips tend to be quite dry, but this applies smoothly even without a base lip balm! Stunning packaging. It's incredibly pretty, though it may show some wear after prolonged use. Still, it's not too delicate! The scent is divine. When applied, a lovely fragrance keeps wafting up - it's so delightful! The staying power... Because it's so hydrating, it tends to fade quickly when talking. It goes without saying, but if you apply a lot, it will stain your lips. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 16, 2020
Overall, I absolutely adored this product! It's the closest match to the color I've been searching for, which might be why I'm so smitten with it. Despite being slightly matte, it applies incredibly smoothly on the lips. If you're captivated by the color, I highly recommend giving it a try! For those with a lot of dead skin cells on their lips, you might notice it slightly accentuates the texture. As a fan of gradient looks, I found applying a very thin layer of lip balm before this tint creates a beautifully natural effect. If you're aiming for a gradient lip, try this method - a thin layer of lip balm followed by this tint works wonders! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJun 11, 2020
It adheres well to the skin, so the staying power is naturally above average. The color has an orange-coral vibe. There aren't really any downsides to mention. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 16, 2020
The color is a lovely pink-coral shade that's perfect for spring or summer. It gives a beautiful hue and feels wonderfully moisturizing on the skin. I experienced some pilling and noticed a bit of dead skin cells coming off. This aspect was slightly uncomfortable for me. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 20, 2020
Container: First off, the packaging looks really high-end! The tint seems to be a non-leaking type, and it actually doesn't leak much at all. There's hardly any product buildup around the neck, and the applicator makes it easy to apply, which I really liked. Color payoff: I love how the color gives a subtle, pretty flush to the lips when applied as a gradient, and it looks beautiful when fully applied too. Longevity: It lasts much longer than regular tints! While eating might remove some of it, it still stays on much better compared to typical tints, which I appreciated. Application feel: Personally, I liked that it doesn't feel moisturizing when applied, but rather has a slightly powdery finish. Ingredients: Well... while 6 ingredients isn't a lot, I wish there could be some improvement in this area. Quantity: The amount of product is too little... It hasn't been long since I bought it, but I've used it up so quickly. I wish there was more product in the container. Price: The price is good when it's on sale, but when it's not, it feels too expensive. I'd like it if either the quantity increased or the price decreased a bit. The photo shows the color fully applied with moderate coverage, without any filters. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 11, 2020
As someone with a slightly darker warm complexion, while it's not a perfect match, it's not bad either. It has a nice orange-coral tone to it. The staining is disappointing. It's frustrating that it comes off easily after eating.
