The moment you apply it, you feel an instant burst of hydration.
ConsIt absorbs a bit slower than expected. It doesn't leave your skin completely matte, but rather slightly slick.

Here's what I like: 1. Price: It's great! It's very affordable, and you get a generous 175ml, which is quite a lot. 2. Ingredients: Excellent The ingredients are gentle and there's no fragrance, making it perfect for super sensitive skin. 3. Hydration: Pretty good While it's not exceptionally rich or abundant in moisture, it does a decent job at keeping skin hydrated.
ConsTexture: It has a somewhat oily feel and can be a bit slippery when applied.
TipSince it's a soothing gel, it can help calm your skin if you get sunburned.

Despite being a gel, it feels creamy and rich when applied to the skin. The hydration really lasts! In my experience, my baby's skin stayed moisturized even until the next day after using it. You don't need to apply a lot to get that deep hydration, which is great. At first, I thought it would be like other creams and applied too much, so I ended up sharing the excess with my younger child. I've tried it on my older kids too, who have mild atopic dermatitis and cholinergic urticaria. Some cosmetics can trigger their allergies, but this soothing gel didn't cause any reactions, which was fantastic. I think we've finally found a deeply hydrating soothing gel that works well for our children. I definitely plan to keep buying it for them in the future. Also, I love that it's fragrance-free, making it perfect for use on babies!
ConsThe only downside is that because it's creamy and rich, it takes a bit of time to absorb into the skin. My second child doesn't like anything that feels slippery or sticky. But for the sake of the children's skin, we can work with it!

When my little one got overheated and developed redness, I applied this frequently, and it soothed the skin wonderfully. It also provides superior hydration for dry skin. Unlike other soothing gels that require layering with an emulsion or cream, this one-step product calms and moisturizes simultaneously, making it super convenient. It seems perfect for babies prone to overheating and dryness. Personal use review: I applied this after self-waxing, and it had a great soothing effect. Some aloe soothing gels occasionally made my skin itchier or caused redness, but this Illiyoon product calmed my skin gently without any irritation or stinging sensation.
ConsAs someone with oily skin, when I used this on my face, it left a slippery residue that felt like a suffocating film on my skin.
TipFor an extra cooling and soothing effect, try storing it in the refrigerator before applying after self-waxing.

When it gets severe, my lip line swells and I even develop cheilitis. But after eliminating all the ingredients I'm sensitive to, I've finally found a match from Illiyoon! I'm not sure how it'll be after using it for more than a week, but after just two applications, my skin is calming down and my skin barrier seems to be recovering. It's opaque and slightly rich, so it doesn't evaporate quickly like aloe gel. You could even use it as a substitute for essence and emulsion.
ConsSince I have combination skin, using this alone leaves my cheeks feeling dry. The glycerin gives it a slippery feel, so you need to allow some time for absorption before applying the next product.
TipThe ingredients I've been avoiding are citrus-based compounds, centella asiatica extract, ethanol, and exfoliating agents. Surprisingly, sodium hyaluronate, which is supposed to provide hydration, actually dried out my skin and definitely triggered my dermatitis.

ConsWhile it seems to apply smoothly, it feels slippery for a long time, giving the impression that it doesn't absorb well.

Hydration Extremely moisturizing Those with oily skin could use it as a morning moisturizer It worked well even for my combination/sensitive skin I applied it generously before bed and didn't wake up feeling dry (Used after exfoliating toner/skin/emulsion) 2. Fragrance Fragrance-free Great for those sensitive to scents 3. Texture Light and hydrating, similar to a summer soothing gel cream Can be used as a lightweight cream alternative in summer It's a bit more slippery than other soothing gels But feels more moisturizing than typical soothing gels If it feels too light for your face, it could work as a summer body emulsion 4. Blemishes While using this, I didn't experience any new breakouts, but existing blemishes didn't improve either The cooling effect is quite nice
ConsIf you're expecting a basic aloe soothing gel, you might be disappointed due to its slippery and moisturizing texture
TipFor an extra cooling effect on the face, try storing it in the refrigerator before use

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsAs someone with sensitive skin, I'm always careful about the ingredients in my skincare products. This one is a real gem - it doesn't contain any harmful ingredients! I didn't experience any blemishes while using it. The texture is semi-transparent and not too runny, and it's fragrance-free, which made it comfortable to use. It's great to apply multiple thin layers before bed (I think it would be even better to use in winter)!
ConsAt first, I applied too much and it felt thick on my skin. Plus, being summer, my face felt hot and it was quite uncomfortable. Once I adjusted the amount, that feeling went away! Be sure to control the quantity carefully in summer! It absorbs a bit slowly and feels slightly slippery, so I'd recommend using it in combination with other products rather than relying on it alone for hydration. In summer, when I tend to sweat more and my skin gets oilier, I used it alongside lighter products like serums.

Unlike some soothing gels that can feel drying, this one doesn't dry out the skin at all Ingredients: So gentle, even babies could use it P.S. Seems like a summer essential, excellent for calming redness and blemishes
ConsAfter application, it feels a tad slippery on the face. The absorption rate is slightly below par
TipPro tip: Store in the fridge for a cooling effect. On scorching days, applying it chilled to your body feels amazing
