  💗I'm a summer cool-toned light (can be mixed with muted) around 13-17 shades.💗 I received and used the color as a gift. It's a matte lipstick, but not too drying, and applies smoothly. There's not much emphasis on flaky skin either. The color payoff is good, and it's a transparent, clear red. I usually don't suit red lips well, but I think I'll be able to use this well on days when I want to wear a red lip.

  Pros

  The color was a very clear red, so it was a perfect winter cool lip color. :) Compared to matte lipsticks, it adhered very lightly and had good application. I was happy that the rubber-like feel of Rubio's was gone.. The color payoff wasn't too bad for a lipstick either.

  Cons

  It didn't have a deep feel, so I applied this as a base and then added a burgundy-toned lip on top! The lasting power isn't extremely good either. And if you apply it wrong, it seems like it could crumble.. It's kind of flaky.. And the color payoff was pinkish, which was disappointing for me.

  Tip

  If you completely remove the oil and moisture from your lips and massage them well before applying, and then layer a deeper colored tint or lipstick on top, it seems to apply nicely. :)
