It absorbs more smoothly than the Retro Matte lipstick. If you find Ruby Woo too intense, trying Werk Werk Werk might be a good alternative. Suits everyone, whether you're a summer or winter cool tone. For light undertones, it might be intense, but works well with gradient application. Perfect for a full lip look - if you want to stand out, highly recommended!! The color is truly beautiful. 2. No emphasis on dead skin cells Despite being a popular summer shade, it doesn't accentuate flaky skin. 3. Slight staining There's some staining after removal, but it's not intense and comes off easily with a lip and eye makeup remover. 4. Signature MAC lipstick scent As someone who dislikes fragranced lipsticks, I appreciated the product's natural scent. The scent isn't overpowering - you only notice it during application, and it becomes unscented once applied. No significant drawbacks. If I had to nitpick, there's one minor issue when buying discounted products at duty-free shops. There's a reason for the discount: The manufacturing date was 2022(?), and I purchased it in 2023, so the usable period wasn't as long as I'd hoped... For those who don't suit bold lips! Being a matte lipstick, it might cause some dead skin cells to appear. Any existing flakiness will be more noticeable, right? The color is absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommended for cool skin tones! Cool-toned beauties, you've got to try this! As soon as you apply it, your face looks brighter and it's just so pretty, I could cry! When applied alone, the color might be quite intense, but it's also beautiful when layered with other products! It doesn't accentuate dead skin cells and it's so easy to apply casually. Love how comfortable it feels! Downsides? Hmm, let me think... It's a beautiful red shade with a pink undertone. The color is vibrant yet translucent, so it doesn't look too intense. It applies with a powdery finish, but it tends to accentuate wrinkles when applied. The removal process isn't very clean either. While the original Retro Matte line is much more matte and gives a neat look by filling in with color, the Powder Kiss line has the advantage of a lightweight application. However, it only applies softly on the surface, making it difficult to achieve a pretty finish. Because I love the color, I'm using it by layering it over other products.

It glides on smoothly and complements a bare face beautifully. The blue-tinted red shade suits cool skin tones perfectly. Dead skin cells flake off more than expected, and the staying power isn't as long-lasting as I'd hoped. The color is beautiful and the pigmentation is quite nice. The staying power is good, and I really like the shade. The color payoff is totally satisfactory. While the staying power is indeed good, it does tend to dry out over time. Because of this, you might need to apply some lip balm.
