First off, it's incredibly affordable. When applied, it absorbs into the skin like a light emulsion, leaving only a moisturized finish. The brightening effect is just right, giving a natural look. I'd recommend this for those who prefer a foundation-free makeup routine. I usually apply this after my sunscreen, but since both have moisturizing formulas, it can feel a bit heavy on the skin. Don't overdo your skincare routine. It might feel a bit suffocating if you layer too many products. - st*************Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 7, 2020
Usually, I'm not a fan of brightening moisturizers because they tend to have poor adherence, causing them to lift and not last long. However, the Holika product seems to be the best among the many I've tried. I'm currently on my third purchase and still loving it! The biggest advantage is its incredibly fine texture, which doesn't settle into wrinkles or uneven areas. I typically apply a thin layer with a sponge for better adherence, but honestly, the formula absorbs so well that if you control the amount properly, you can apply it smoothly with your hands without any residue or settling into fine lines. What's great is that it doesn't give that unnatural, pale blue tone that's a common drawback of brightening moisturizers. Instead, it brightens the complexion in a clean, natural way. I apply it up to my neck when doing my makeup, and rather than leaving a white cast, it makes my skin look naturally fair. The good adherence means foundation applies beautifully over it. The texture is slightly tacky, which helps it last quite well without becoming greasy or drying out. At just 5900 won, the quality is extremely satisfying. I wish it would become even more popular! It gives such a natural and pretty brightening effect that it could be great for students as an alternative to foundation, or for anyone looking to go foundation-free. Well... while it's affordable and good, I wish it came in a larger size. To be fair, the lack of SPF is a bit disappointing, but then again, this is a brightening moisturizer, not a sunscreen. The small size makes it convenient to carry around, but that also means it gets used up quickly. I'm patiently waiting for them to release a larger size. Unlike many hydrating brightening moisturizers on the market, the texture is more like a sunscreen - slightly tacky. I didn't find it particularly uncomfortable, but depending on your skin condition, you might feel some dryness. My sister, who has very dry skin, mentioned that this product felt a bit drying for her. These days, I've been using this product for my foundation-free makeup routine. The natural finish makes it great for evening out the skin tone not just on the face, but also on the neck and back of hands. I've tried various brightening moisturizers and sunscreens for foundation-free makeup, but this one really doesn't transfer much onto masks and has good staying power, so I highly recommend it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 14, 2020
My skin is a true combination of dry and oily areas, with super sensitive tendencies. This blur cream has the typical color and texture you'd find in most stores. I'm currently on my third bottle! Since heavy makeup doesn't suit my face, I don't usually wear much base makeup. However, this cream creates such a quality finish that I can complete my base makeup just by applying it and gently patting with a puff. What I love about this blur cream is that, unlike others I've tried, it doesn't leave a white powdery residue or pill on the skin. It doesn't just make my face look pale, but truly brightens my complexion in a natural, radiant way. If I had to mention a downside, you can still occasionally see a slight white powdery residue. Even after applying a moisturizing cream, it sometimes sits on top of the drier areas of my skin. Here's a pro tip: Mix this cream in a 1:1 ratio with Dr.G Medi UV Ultra Sun cream and apply it all over your face with your hands. Then, gently pat it with a puff. This creates the perfect 'no-makeup makeup' look. It's ideal for those who find BB creams or powder foundations too heavy for their skin makeup routine. - ha*********Dry SkinRecommendedJan 31, 2020
The tone-up effect looks so natural and natural, and while other products feel stuffy, this one is light and moisturizing!!!! It's the best. My skin isn't very sensitive, so I'm not sure about trouble issues... If you apply it thinly, the longevity will naturally be lower, but if you apply a bit more, the longevity is good. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 5, 2020
First and foremost, the price is the best part❣ I bought it directly from the Holika Holika store, and it was 5,000 won‼ Other products can cost more than 10,000 won, but this one has decent ingredients and an affordable price, so even students can purchase it without burden😄 Secondly, it doesn't make my skin look overly pale or anything, and it provides a nice, moderate tone-up effect, which I liked. I'm neutral, but my chin area is dry.. But as time went by, the longevity was okay, but it got a bit clumpy in the dry areas, so that was a bit disappointing And when I applied it, it was fine, but the next day, I noticed something like mosquito bites, which was a bit of a letdown😥 That part was a bit disappointing. For those with dry skin, if you do a thorough skincare routine and apply it, it should work quite well💦 - le********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 10, 2019
My skin tone is 21 and I have a somewhat sensitive skin. When I use this product and apply foundation or BB cream, my skin looks so bright and healthy. The fragrance is also not bad, it's like a baby powder scent. I sometimes get pimples, but... I just can't give up this product... - Hwahae UserDry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 28, 2019
The lower price was a plus for me! As far as I'm concerned, it didn't seem to cause any skin troubles. The lower staying power is a bit of an issue? And I have this feature on my mirror where the wind blows, and when I apply this product with the puff, it doesn't spread out very well. Other than that, I'm satisfied! If you use a fan on your face while applying this product, it won't spread out well. And make sure to carry this product in your pouch when you're out - the staying power is a bit lacking. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSep 11, 2019
The white cream helped my dark skin tone up naturally, making my skin look brighter. It's a pity that there's not much left when I finished using it. If you use a little bit of the cushion, it doesn't cause any noticeable unevenness. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2019
The skin tone was naturally brightened up and I think I bought it for around a thousand won with the discount, which was really cheap. A lot of blemishes came up The amount was a bit small, but it was decent considering the price. When I applied just a little bit and mixed it with lotion, it spread on more smoothly without being too thick. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 4, 2019
This is apparently a renewed version of the original butterfly cream, and I've already used 4 of them... I was looking for a product that I didn't like the stuffy feeling of BB and CC creams, and after using it, it's completely lightweight (of course, since it's a cream) and has great tone-up effects. Some people say the cushion version has poor lasting power, but personally, I think the cost-effectiveness and lasting power are good - my face is still bright white from when I left at 10 AM until I got home at 12 AM. It's incredibly moisturizing and doesn't leave any residue. Since it's a cream, the coverage is lacking a bit. To compare, it covers blemishes but leaves spots as is. And if I apply blush with my hands, it gets a bit displaced (of course, I apply the cream before the base absorbs).
