  Cooling effect The one thing that was good was the cooling sensation. It quickly lowers the temperature on the skin's surface, giving a refreshing feel.

  Cons

  The skin irritation is far too severe. I didn't think it was because of this at first, but it turns out this toner was the culprit. It causes a burning sensation, stinging, and my skin quickly turns red. My skin barrier seems to have broken down, and I'm even getting blemishes. Using this as a toner mask will 100% turn you into a red radish. I've tried various toners, but this is the first time I've experienced one this irritating. When I bought it, reviews said it was incredibly gentle, but it's not gentle at all. It just didn't agree with my skin.

  As someone without dry skin, I find the quick-drying feature to be a real advantage.

  Cons

  I'm not sure about blemishes yet. It stung a bit when applied, especially around the lips. There's also a slight stickiness, but it dissipates quickly.

  The only good thing I can honestly say is that it has good ingredients. That's about it.

  I was shocked when I first used it because it stung so much! I'm scared every time I use it. My skin turns red, so I wondered if the ingredients were bad. But when I looked it up, that wasn't the case. However, it didn't cause my skin to completely freak out after using it. The toner doesn't feel gentle at all and was the worst. What a waste of money. Still, I persevered and used it. Honestly, I have nothing good to say. It's really not great.

  I've noticed that it seems to sting more when I have makeup on.

  The formula is completely water-like, making it perfect for the 5-skin or 7-skin method, similar to using Dokdo toner. Personally, I prefer toners and skin products to have a watery consistency rather than a runny nose-like texture, so I was quite satisfied with this.

  Cons

  I bought this as a substitute for the Calendula toner, which is pricier, based on the salesperson's recommendation that it was similar. It felt fine when I tested it on my hand, but as soon as I applied it to my face, it started stinging. While it didn't cause a massive breakout of blemishes, I kept experiencing a constant stinging sensation until I'd used up half the bottle, trying to convince myself it was okay. I already have some redness issues, and this seemed to make my skin even redder, which was very disappointing. This experience has unfortunately made me view other Kiehl's products negatively as well.
