  I bought this cucumber extract toner for summer use and used it well throughout the season. I have combination dehydrated skin that became super sensitive after a bad reaction to a product a year ago. While using the Cucumber Herbal Toner, I didn't experience any blemishes, and it seemed to have a soothing effect, probably due to the cucumber extract. It's a large 500ml bottle - my partner and I used it for 3-4 months, but if used alone, it could last 7-8 months.

  Cons

  I bought this thinking it would be like Kiehl's Calendula Herbal Toner, assuming it would have few ingredients to watch out for. However, I was surprised to find it contains five potentially irritating ingredients, including fragrance and colorants. Because of this, I avoided using it for the '7-skin method'. When I first used it, the initial scent was very strong, but it faded with use and I got used to it. It also felt slightly irritating at first, but this sensation diminished over time. While the overall experience was okay, I won't repurchase due to the unnecessary fragrances and colorants.

  Tip

  It works well as a wipe-off toner. It's great to keep in the fridge and use cool during summer for a refreshing effect.

  I've repurchased this twice. The cucumber ingredient gives a cooling effect that's great for redness, and even though I have sensitive skin, it didn't cause any blemishes.

  I wish they'd come out with a larger size. The amount you get for the price is quite small.

  I didn't experience any particular allergic reactions, so it was fine to use. As someone sensitive to fragrances, I appreciated that it had minimal scent. Moreover, it helped calm down acne and blemishes on my skin.

  During the first application, my skin felt a bit tingly, but no specific blemishes appeared the next day. However, even now as I continue using it, there's still a slight stinging sensation. Although it claims to be alcohol-free, the feeling on the skin somewhat suggests the presence of alcohol.

  Tip

  I'm using the entire Kiehl's basic skincare line (toner, emulsion, moisturizer, oil, sunscreen). Since switching to the Kiehl's line, I've noticed I tend to break out more when I use other products. Given the high price point, I recommend purchasing from duty-free shops.

  As someone with sensitive, acne-prone skin, I found this product quite agreeable! It didn't cause any breakouts or irritation when I first used it, so that's definitely a win in my book.

  Cons

  The downside is that it was just... okay. Nothing particularly impressive in terms of benefits. Oh, and the color was a bit off-putting, which made me a bit wary, haha!

  I love that it's alcohol-free. As someone with dry, sensitive skin prone to blemishes, this product didn't cause any irritation and worked well for me.

  Cons

  I applied it daily using cotton pads, but every time the pad turned green, I couldn't help but worry that my face would end up green after finishing the bottle. Even when it dried, a faint green tint remained on the cotton... It made me feel uneasy while using it. If they could just remove the coloring, I'd consider repurchasing, but the tint really puts me off using it.

  This seems great for combination skin. Being oil-free, it's gentle on acne and blemishes, and gives a soothing sensation. It's so pure that when you apply it by wiping, it feels like you're just putting water on your skin.

  I tried an expensive toner from Kiehl's but couldn't really feel any benefits, so I switched to this relatively cheaper toner. Since using it, I haven't experienced any blemishes, and it seems gentle due to being alcohol-free. I'm currently on my second large bottle.

  To think it contains five harmful ingredients... I checked before repurchasing, but now I'll have to buy something else.
