At first, I was skeptical about a product with just mugwort extract as the main ingredient, especially at this price point. But I was pleasantly surprised by how good it actually is! I expected it to feel like plain water on my skin, but when I first sprayed it, it had this unique texture - not quite oily, but not just watery either. It's slightly tacky and feels like it's creating a protective layer, which was unexpected at first. Despite being just mugwort extract, it provides surprisingly good hydration. Those with oily skin might find it a bit sticky or rich, as it's not a completely watery formula. One great thing about this mist is that it doesn't sting my eyes, unlike many other products. The packaging is also a pleasant surprise - I thought it would be a harsh spray, but it's actually a gentle, fine mist. I love it! I'll definitely keep using this bottle and won't throw it away. The mugwort really worked wonders for calming my skin and was great for cooling and soothing. The essence had a strong mugwort scent, wasn't sticky, and had a thin consistency. I used it as a mask, but since it came in a mist-type bottle, it was a bit challenging to saturate the mask. The spray power is a bit weak. You need to spritz several times to get enough moisture. Other than that, the product itself is good. To get the most out of this product, you might want to transfer it to a different container for easier application as a mask, or use it as a layering essence in your skincare routine for added hydration.

There's a subtle hint of mugwort scent too! It's so hydrating that you can comfortably spritz it frequently throughout the day without any burden. My sensitive skin has improved a lot since I started using this. The fragrance is pleasant and just right. It worked well for me. While the quality feels good, personally, I find the hydration a bit lacking. It's slightly rich and hydrating. The spray format is perfect for applying right after washing your face. I tried the Isol Mugwort Essence and my skin felt so smooth, I thought mugwort was great for my skin. So when I saw the trending Artemisia Annua products in the community, I picked one up. But the result? No improvement in skin texture at all. I rarely have issues with skincare products causing breakouts or reactions, but strangely, every time I sprayed this on my face, something would pop up. Even richer products don't cause me problems. So I had no choice but to use it on my body instead. Oh, and I've used an Artemisia Annua cream before without any issues. First off, it gives a refreshing sensation that helps control the humidity and heat under the mask. I use this mist instead of toner after cleansing. When used this way, it feels more hydrating than a toner, and the calming mugwort scent seems to soothe and boost my skin condition more than usual. I feel that mugwort has an even greater calming effect than houttuynia cordata or centella asiatica! While this product is perfect for me since I'm a big fan of mugwort scent, it might be a hit or miss for others! This product worked well for me, calming my blemishes faster than other products I've tried. It might be a bit drying, so it may not be suitable for those with dry skin.
