Even though I continued to apply moisturizer and used skincare products to keep my skin hydrated, I didn't feel any positive effects other than soothing the redness. My skin is dry.
Cons
At first, it was quite thick and really dense, so it was difficult to apply on the face. I thought the redness would get worse due to the friction when patting it on the face, but after applying it all, the redness was okay. After applying it all, it came off like a layer, and for a moment I thought it was my own flaky skin. No matter how much I applied, it was extremely dry. It's better to use a hydrating product instead. That one is really moisturizing and glossy, but this one is just dense and not moisturizing at all, so it doesn't give a glow. If you apply it before makeup, it seems like it will all peel off.

Pros
My cheeks are dry and my T-zone is oily, so I have combination skin that is quite dry. However, this product seems to control the oil well without drying out my skin too much. When I apply it and do my makeup, there is less oil buildup around my nose area, and my makeup lasts longer. I haven't tried applying it all over my face though, as I'm worried it might make my cheeks feel too tight and dry. Applying it just to the oilier areas like my nose and chin seems to help control the shine there.
Cons
When I use this and then do my makeup, it makes my makeup look really cakey and emphasizes the texture of my skin. I remember having a similar issue when using the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo, so it seems like a lot of oil-controlling products tend to have this effect.
Tip
Using just a tiny amount and applying it only to the oilier areas like around my nose seems to help control the shine to some degree. But the way it makes my makeup look cakey is still a major downside...
